The place was in a very remote area, perfect from camping/glamping! There were farm animals in the fields next to us and it was lovely waking up in the morning and going out to them.

The location was perfect for where I was going. I was attending a funeral in Kilbane. Aine was wonderful. She made arrangements for me to check in early, and was in contact with me throughout the stay. The view was spectacular.

Excellent glamping pod Comfy and cosy. Spotlessly clean. Friendly owner. Manages to fit a lot of comfort and luxuries into a small space. Great place for star gazing. Fabulous place would highly recommend.

It got v warm at night, even with window open.. my fiancé had to move to the couch!!? It’s not a major complaint but this was the only negative really

I wish we were able to interact with the animals. The property had many signs discouraging interactions. I personally felt mislead by the booking information.

We loved the early morning views. The tiny space was a lot easier to manage than we initially thought. This is a perfect spot if you're looking for a quiet and secluded place but also not be in the middle of nowhere.

We loved watching the animals and even the cat said hello. Anne was lovely and helpful. It was a perfect place for a few days of relaxing during our travels. We did go into town nearby for a pint and the drive was a hoot😀

The large windows are a big plus but ideally there would be a way to block out the early summer daylight when sleeping (we brought a portable blackout blind that helped).

A wonderful place to stay for young kids. My daughter loved the animals, the little play area under the trees and the toy car. The pod was very comfortable and had all necessities.

Everything was great.

Fabulous facilities, they even gave us some turf for the chiminea so that the kids could roast marshmallows. The kids were also allowed to feed the calves which they loved. So much room for them to run around. My oldest daughter was playing in a tournament in limerick for the week so we were going in and out to UL to watch her and it is less than half an hour from UL. We also were only 20 mins away from Ballina and Killaloe so went there in between matches and used the outdoor pool in Ballina which was fab. The cabin itself was spotless, the bed was so comfortable as was the pull out couch bed which is pretty hard to find. It was equipped with a fridge, freezer box, kettle, toaster, microwave, just ideal for us.

We loved everything

We loved everything about the Kilbane glamping it was our first time glamping and Kilbane has definitely set a high standard everything was perfect set in a fantastic location with only two pods looking out over loads fields with fabulous scenery farm animals just out side the door so private outdoor fire where we sat enjoyed sitting back relaxing with a drink while kids had a great time playing in safe area one of our best trips away yet in Ireland and will definitely be back with more family as there’s two pods so u would have the whole area to urself we got up this morning to sheep outside and kids wer absolutely delighted we will definitely be back and would highly recommend if you bring enough kids outdoor activities u don’t even need to leave only to get lunch or dinner 😎

What a joy to arrive to this cabin after a long drive. Beautiful tranquil location. We travelled as a family and it was perfect for what we wanted. Room for the kids to run around outside safely and some friendly farm animals to send them out to say good morning to. Great base to stay if you are exploring the area around. Host was easy to reach if we needed anything and dropped down extra towels during our visit. We all slept really well, comfortably fits a family of 4 with room to eat/play a game during the day and then pull out the sofa bed at night for a rest. Would love to come back again!
