Husband would have liked a cooked breakfast instead of continental breakfast but I found it perfectly fine.

Martha was so welcoming on our arrival. Give us all the information we needed regarding tours, restaurants and pubs. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view of the sea. Breakfast was really good plenty of cereals, bread, cheese and cold meats. There was as much tea and coffee as we wanted for breakfast and any time during the day. The location is great about a 12-15 minute walk into the town.

Stayed in the one-bedroom apartment which was perfect! Fully equipped with everything you could need, lots of space and exceptionally clean. Excellent location with beautiful view overlooking Croagh Patrick. Very short walk along greenway to town.

Comfortable, very reasonably priced self-catering 2-bed apartment at the back of the B&B. Suited 4 lads perfectly. The owner of the property is very hospitable. A little gem near The Knockranny Hotel, overlooking Croagh Patrick, and next to an off-road walking route 10minutes into town. Recommended. Westport is a fantastic town with great amenities.

The view from our room was outstanding, and the place had a simple B&B charm to it. Breakfast included in room was good, and we got some nice recommendations from our host. Clearly a local business in a great spot overlooking the city, a highlight of our trip!

If there are any faults, a Nespresso machine in the rooms would have been a nice touch for us early risers vs. instant coffee packets and kettle. The bath towels were on the thin side and were shredding at the edges. Mind also the slanted ceilings (at least in our Room #6); you need to mind your head

Located only a 15 minute walk into Westport city centre, Westport Heights sits on a hill in a completely quiet neighborhood with spectacular overlooks of the mountains and water. In my travel experience what makes or breaks a place is the character, personality and level of hospitality of the owners and/or staff. Owner Martha is beyond any high rating I could give in this review! If there were 100 possible points, she would get 101. She is truly an experience all by herself. Caring and committed to help in planning your sightseeing in the area and in all of County Mayo, Martha will guarantee you an exceptional experience. If you understand what a B&B is all about, you will love Westport Heights for comfort, hospitality and location. Luxury accommodations it isn't. But the value for the price is unbeatable. Martha lays out a plentiful cold breakfast buffet and is there every morning to make sure all is well. She greets you every single morning with a smile, good humor and many helpful tips.

The room we got a low slanted ceiling. To be fair, this was clearly shown in the photos of the room. But probably isn’t ideal for someone tall as hit our heads a few times.

Nice hostess, continental breakfast, lovely view of the mountains. Towels were changed daily. Keep in mind that the bathroom is shared between 3 or 4 rooms, there’s an extra toilet downstairs. Bathroom was being cleaned regularly.

Location was about 15 mins walk from Westport but only a very minor thing as the view to croagh Patrick was incredible.

Very helpful host gave us a map of Westport recommending lots of things to do and see. The toilets and room were extremely clean. Free breakfast in the morning was also great and coffee and tea provided in the room also.

Things that first came to my mind- a cosy dining room with an amazing view. It was a great subject to start a conversation with other guests and share our thoughts and feelings about Westport / Mayo. The bed was so comfortable, I could rest with a cup of tea in my hand after a busy day of walking / hiking. Marta - the host - such a lovely person. I got so many helpful tips on how to enjoy my stay in Westport. It was great to meet a person so positive and enthusiastic about the area and open to help. A big plus - a beautiful route to town centre through forest / green space as the walking / cycling lane is very close.

Unfortunately the previous guests had cooked fish which left a lingering smell but Martha did her utmost to remove the smell.
