Getting lost lol. There was nothing I didn't like about the property.

If I could give a higher rating than 10, I would certainly do so. Itinially my GPS 'led me up the garden path' and I got a little lost, ending up at an old delapided house lol, but a call to Susan and she met me out on the road to guide me. Susan was a charming host and she made me feel very welcome. I was very interested in her beautiful family photos in beautiful wooden frames of her father (as a young boy) and his parents, in pride of place in the guest lounge room. The lounge chairs were so comfy, I just fell into them and didn't was to leave.... Her beautiful home is filled with so much love and many family photos in every room. My room was soooo big, the KS bed was very comfy (although my feet kept on hitting the bedend because I am so tall lol). The bedding on both beds (KS & single) was beautiful and although the house is close to a road, you can hardky hear the cars going by. There was a tray next to the single bed, with a kettle, t/c, sugar, china mug and jug of water. Down the hall was another mini kitchen area with a microwave, toaster, milk jugs and milk in a small fridge. The shower was strong and hot (a huge plus after a very long day of travelling). Lots of lighting over the vanity basin, with clean glasses, large good quality bottles of cond, shampoo & body wash were nicely arranged in the shower. There was also good quality toilet paper as well which you don't often find. The manicured gardens are a sheer delight with lots of little quirky things to look at. The guest lounge was gorgeous and it was a delight to sit in the quiet of the afternoon and listen to & watch the birds in the garden, whilst enjoying all her family pictures on the wall. Breakfast was included, and a table was set in the bay window looking out onto the garden. There was SO much to choose from....

If I'm being really 'picky', I would just mention that the driveway entrance is right at the junction of the main road and their side road, and we drove past it because there's only a small sign for the house - so we had a little drive in some lovely countryside until we realised our mistake - certainly not a hardship or problem.

We have visited Ireland quite regularly, mainly ferry to Dublin, and hadn't really been able to drop on a suitable B&B in a nice area, for our overnight prior to returning to the UK - until now! Laithreach Briuin is perfect - friendly, clean, and only a couple of hundred metres from the Grand Canal, with a lovely walk into Maynooth. For an overnight stay, it's perfect, but now we've found it, we'll be back and will be staying for longer to explore the area. It's just in a lovely setting with a long driveway to very easy, secure private parking. Our room was spotlessly clean, as was the entire place, and Susan and Anthony were so friendly and helpful.

Susan is a wonderful host- very welcoming and friendly. The house is situated a few minute's drive from Maynooth town. Breakfast spread was great and hot food was very tasty. Room and ensuite were spotless and comfortable. There are facilities in the hallway (fridge, toaster and microwave). Would highly recommend and will stay again.

it was super easy to find, and so welcoming when I arrived even though it was late in the evening. The room I had was spotless, warm, cosy and as I am Coeliac there were even Gluten free treats left with tea, coffee etc for me in my room. There was gluten free bread for me in the morning and everything perfectly saved and presented to make sure that there was no cross contamination-

Good location, it was a short drive into Maynooth and we were able to park for free and take a bus into Dublin for cheap. The hostess was super accommodating and the room was fantastic.

Honestly, there wasn't a single thing I didn't like!

Everything! Quiet location, safe and secure, spotlessly clean, great pressure shower, and the comfiest bed I have EVER slept in!! Breakfast was superb, and the attentiveness from the owners was fantastic! I felt so welcome and cared for, lovely stay altogether!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay, felt like I was in a luxurious hotel. House itself is ust amazing as are the hosts. Very friendly welcome and a great breakfast the next morning. Spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. I will most certainly be booking this place well in advance of my next stay. Cannot fault in any way.
