Our host was very friendly and helpful. The room was big enough, clean and cosy. We could use the kitchen, which was fully equipped, modern and spacious. We liked our stay.

Would be good to have a TV in each bedroom if you want to relax in your room away from the other guests.

A lovely quiet place with local shops nearby and beautiful beaches within a short drive. The owner was really nice and onsite if you need anything. Dog friendly which is why we booked it, we had our dog with us but not a good idea because he was a bit unsettled at night hearing the other guests moving around the house (sorry again 🤦‍♀️). This is a great place if you are planning on spending alot of time out and about very clean and comfortable and beautiful scenery

All was great

Great communication with the host, very friendly. Lovely setting. Comfortable room with private bathroom. Lots of common areas, TV room with netflix, etc. Amazing kitchen with lots of supplies, made late breakfast and weren't rushed away from the dining space on the day of departure. Lots of nice quirky decor bits, nice atmosphere. Local restaurant is 15min walk and had amazing steak there. Really friendly people too, took us in with our dog as it was a bit cold outside. The property is pet friendly too - big bonus!

The room was not sound proofed. Didn't really bother as that much as we were dead tired everytime we get back to the place so we slept like a log.

Loved the place and it's affordability at the same. Would stay here again in the future. The owner was very nice, room was decent size, loved the skylight in the room, loved the shower too.

Only real issue we had were the doors being quite creaky. Not necessarily a problem but when the house was full at night, it occasionally woke us up.

Hosts were lovely, couldnt have been more welcoming. knowledgable about the surrounding area. Location is good for exploring Donegal, but you'll need a car to get anywhere. Room was bright and well decorated

I had some problems locating the lodge on my satnav and I kept being directed up small country roads/lanes adjacent to the lodge. Obviously this was not an issue created by the lodge. Also, there was some inconsistency between prior information from Booking.com and the reality on the ground.

The lodge was spacious with lots of common areas for sharing between ourselves and other guests. The owner, John, had also provided a starter kit of food items which was a pleasant surprise for us.

Loch Connell Lodge was so lovely very accommodating, this was our first weekend away with our wee dog as always found it hard to get places were pets are allowed. Chappy loved it, he enjoyed the space and freedom. Staff was exceptional to our needs.. View was so lovely and we're allowed to use the facilities in the house to cook when wanted to and watch TV, it felt like home. Thanks again John for everything

Great peaceful location with a beautiful view, room was comfortable with an ensuite bathroom, a big kitchen to cook if you wish and breakfast is available. And John is a very and attentive and kind host. Definitely recommended, a place to come back to!

The host was very friendly. The lodge had great character. Facilities were perfect. The host also went out of his way and dropped us to a nearby bar instead of us getting a taxi.
