Rooms are a little bit dated and could do with an upgrade. Shower was in the bath which is fine if you are able bodied.

Very comfortable hotel and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was included and you ordered from a menu. I think this is better than a buffet as it stops wastage.

Girl hardly looked up when I checked in so found that disappointing and not a great welcome. Dining was not good. Ordered a chicken fillet burger. Not one person came back to ask me was food ok, and the chicken was very tough. Didn’t eat most of my meal but nobody observed my leftovers and asked why most food was left.? I was late and tired so didn’t say anything to a manager. bedroom was fine and that was why I was there anyway. In morning the girl in restaurant did not tell me how breakfast worked so I didn’t know orange juice was there for helping myself. I was given a menu and had to ask what I was entitled to? Breakfast was ok. Again never asked by anybody was everything ok. Another thing was car park was jammed that night and I noticed a non electric car parked in the electric charging bay for quite some time which was bad if you were urgently looking to charge. There is a charging point in the garage next door but this seems to be constantly in use. Probably won’t stay here again.

There were a few issues with the restaurant. If you are staying in the hotel, I would recommend eating elsewhere. When I complained about only having 3 prawns in a salad that cost 12.95, I was told it was the chef's decision and there was nothing they could do about it. But as I mentioned, the cost for all food and drinks were deducted from our final bill. The shower could also do with an update considering it is a 4 star hotel. For a superior room, I expected more than two singles pushed together. There was a noticeable gap between them during the night. The green lighting in the room was also not very nice or practical.

It was very clean, and seemed recently refurbished. The room was large, and had a table for having breakfast in the room. There was a full length mirror, which is a huge plus when staying away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had some issues in the restaurant, but we were not charged for the food or drinks because of the issues we had. The staff couldn't have done enough for us. Even with the issues we had in the restaurant, I would stay in this hotel again.

Our room was exceptionally warm, tried the radiator but it wasnt on. Not a complaint really. The breakfast had no cereal on the menu, I am very basic and like my cornflakes.

We had a room on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, it was great as I had injured my shoulder. There was a lovely fire in the lobby with nice comfy chairs and the staff were very friendly and had a word for everyone.

Fabulous hotel. Room was excellent cosy and comfortable. Every staff member we met were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. We had dinner on the dining area with family and the food was fantastic we would highly recommend the hotel to everyone we meet we had a fantastic time and have already booked to go back.

The bath side and screen were worn causing shower water to wet the floor

The location for my journey was good with tea and coffee in the room and free wi-fi I was able to work unimpeded. The fire in the lobby, friendly staff together with a comfortable bed and home made porridge for breakfast was superb.

breakfast was very nice, with plenty to eat, as i was only there to play darts i only stayed over night then traveled back home, dinner on friday night was also very nice salmon,
