It was bright & airy with plenty of flowers in the foyer. The bar & restaurant was cosy and the food was very good. Each and every member of the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast wasn't great. Coffee awful, should have vegetarian option. But the other guest had the full Irish, and they said it was very good.

Great location, fabulous view of the river. Lovely dining area for breakfast. Lobby area is beautifully decorated and appointed. bedrooms were spacious with lovely bed linen.

Only thing we would recommend or prefer would be a buffet breakfast & a walk in shower instead of a shower over the bath

Everything was exceptional spotless amazing views location is great. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend to anyone. The price of mid-week stay was bit high but it is a very nice place. I am currently looking for somewhere to have a wedding so it is high possibility.

This is a lovely hotel. It's very clean and warm. The staff are excellent and you are always made feel welcome. The food both in the restaurant and at breakfast is excellent. Best pint of guinness in Carlow.

The LB is a great spot to meet up with family and friends. The service is excellent and the owner is always visible checking up and greeting guests. We have been visiting since 1988 and it never fails us .
