Donal & Mary were very welcoming and allowed our kids to share their kids toys & the kids played together. They left us some Easter treats & milk in the fridge & even gave Easter eggs to our kids. House is modern and rooms are a generous size with two of them being ensuites along with a main bathroom upstairs and a WC downstairs. Walking distance to the shop & pub/restaurant too. We went to Bonners pub which was about 10 mins away & got taxi back home. Lively pub and craic was great. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house in a great location. Hosts Mary and Donal live beside the property, they are friendly and helpful and Mary was able to recommend some great places for us to visit. House is spotless, spacious and well kitted out with all mod cons and lots of practical things like tinfoil, dishwasher tabs, bin bags etc. Really comfy beds, slept very well for the 3 nights we where there. Lovely pub/restaurant 1 minute walk from house with a nice area to sit outside and good food. We had a great 4 days taking in Carrickfinn Beach, Bunbeg with another beautiful beach and little shops and eating places, Dungloe with aldi and lidl for shopping needs, taking the ferry over to Aranmore, Railway walk all within a short drive from the house, its central location makes it a perfect base to explore.

Communal use of garden space with multiple children of all age groups – this was not clear from the advert Parts of the jungle gym were broken & potentially hazardous Empty bottles & litter in the garden on occasions Old fencing & scrap metal - potentially dangerous materials No garden furniture & when some was provided it was damaged/unsafe Poor standard of cleaning before arrival - dog hairs everywhere. Cupboards filled with opened food which limited our use. Internet extremely slow given it was a shared network. No hairdryer provided

The area was lovely if more remote than we realised.
