Some of the duvet covers were not clean. We washed them and the stains came out which leads us to believe they had not been washed. We occasionally had a problem with getting the hot water to work. The Irish system of having to turn on everything before you use it is new to us, resulting in a couple of our group having cold showers. Not the properties fault but more instructions for us ignorant Americans would be very helpful. This type of electrical system is something we never ran across before our visit to your beautiful country. Another thing that would be very helpful is a place to hang our towels to dry.

Luskins is in an amazing location, if i was ever in the west of Ireland i would 100% use again. It is ideal if you are attending a wedding nearby or going for a little relaxing break.

It was hard to find because there was no sign to mark Luskin’s. The wall in front of the property made it hard to spot.

Location next to Ashford Castle and an easy walk into the village. Good food available in several pubs and restaurants. The Spar (also the bus stop for connections to Galway and train station) had delicious French pastries, portable Irish breakfasts (bring your own shopping bags!), fresh fruit, bottled drinks - typical Spar merchandise. We walked to Cong Abbey and the beautiful area surrounding it. The Ireland School of Falconry, located within the Ashford Castle grounds, was a highlight of our trip, as we experienced the Hawk Walk. We took the two-hour Island Cruise from Ashford Castle on Lake Corrib, delightful! Luskin’s was the perfect center for our Cong adventures!

The location was great. We loved that we could walk into town for a drink or bite to eat. We also enjoyed being able to sit outside in our own private garden watching the donkey and mini horse playing.

The washing machine had a problem, but since I was attempting to do laundry at an unreasonable hour of the night, I didn't contact Sheila until the next day -- and she was instantly helpful.

Luskin's had all sorts of supplies to help with our self-catering. The house itself was roomy for the 5 of us, and it was really nice to have 2 separate bathrooms. Had it not been January, we would have enjoyed the very short walk into Cong!

The house was exceptionally clean and very spacious. We found it very well equipped with plenty of towels, extra pillows and kitchen utensils. It is also just a couple of minutes walk into Cong village which has good pubs, restaurants and supermarket.

The property was in an ideal location for us - in walking distance to the village of Cong and close to The Lodge at Ashford Castle where we were attending a wedding. From booking to questions and queries the owners were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing. The front bedroom was susceptible to traffic noise, but the hosts had warned us of this in advance and did recommend the back bedrooms which were quieter. (There was a fault with the Wi-Fi but that was out of the control of the hosts as a truck had taken down the line between the poles outside and it had not been repaired, but the hosts did everything they could to try to get it fixed or solve the issue and could not have been any more helpful ❤️. It did not spoil our stay at all and we would stay again and highly recommend).

Lovely house in a lovely location. Hosts couldn’t do enough for us if contacted. Lots of non perishable foods in press, sky tv and loved the selection of kids and family films recorded on the sky box as well as a handy selection of dvds. Lots of extra blankets, pillows, throws etc. Very comfortable.

Location brilliant, its near the entrance to Ashford Castle. 2-3 minute walk to playground and 5-7 minutes into village. Lovely spacious house. Great facilities in the house. We consisted of 4 adults and 5 kids, and there was ample room.
