How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Ventilation in bathroom could be better and a way to set the heating in the room or airconditioning We were sharing with a family and it was getting quite warm
Breakfast was great with excellent choice, something there for everyone, all tastes catered for. Location was great, close to roads and handy to have some shops across the road

We found that the bar was a little chilly in the evening. It made it a little uncomfortable to sit in.
Staff were very friendly. The bar food was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was just right for what had planned to do.

Car park too busy and that guests have to pay for it even if two cars in the same room.
Its location was key.

They have clearly spent some money doing up some of the rooms decoration wise but many of the bathroom wall tiles had black mould and the floor tiles had several chips in them and need replacing or at least repairing. We requested 2 rooms either next to each other or very close but when arrived we found we were miles away. Our room first had the water constantly running into the toilet so this was sorted out but that evening when we got back to our room we found a terrible smell like sewage in our bathroom so the following day the staff got us a different room. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us but the quality of rooms should be better.
The breakfast was always good and the quality of the evening meal was always high quality.

Well-organised hotel on the outskirts of Dublin, from where you can easily explore both the city and the surrounding area. We arrived late at night and were initially given a room suitable only for wheelchair users, which we had not booked and was not suitable for us. The next morning we were able to change rooms without any problems and everything was to our complete satisfaction, especially the bed was very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. And the breakfast was very good. The buffet offered something for everyone s wishes. We would stay here again.

The room we were given 1st. The wait for food on night 1, are waiter was unreal seemed to be doing it all...
Didn't like room as it was on its our in a dark almost creepy area but got another beautiful room with no issue. Good location too

My only 'gripe' was the TV in my room didn't work. I was just there for one night. Otherwise I could have asked reception to send someone to fix it but I didn't really miss it much anyway. So, this isn't a complaint, as such. I was allocated a room far from reception/entrance - again. While everything was good, the cost was borderline between 'about right' and 'too much'.
Checking in was straightforward and quick. My room was spacious and clean. I had plenty of space for my clothes and 'stuff'. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Nice bathroom with plenty of clean towels. The bar was quiet but 'nice enough' when I went there mid afternoon soon after I arrived. I met with some friends for a meal the only night I was there and everything was good. I had a good breakfast in the restaurant the next morning, shortly before I left. All told it was a nice place to stay in.

If you need to have check out a bit of latter than 11:00 every hour it’s 20 euro
You can make check in and check out by yourself in special machines,than perfect!

A lack of space in the foyer to have a quiet drink after hours . It was late when we arrived.
Did not have breakfast. The receptionist was excellent. Could not have been more helpful.

Noise in the mornings, slamming of doors.
Clean and tidy hotel, friendly and welcoming staff. The bar service was extremely good, arguably one of the best pints of Guinness in Dublin.
