The room wasn't what we expected. We were expecting at least somewhat similar to the picture we saw for the double room here. However, we we're disappointed, the room was tiny and dusty, the remote control was full of dirt and had the back cover of it missing, there was a burnt iron stain on the rug as soon as you walk in, by the looks of it no one really stayed in that room or it was the very last room that was hardly given to people as it was quite dusty and dirty

I like the location of the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly.

They didnt realise the first day that I had booked for two night on two seperate bookings which I had made clear on arrival. service was very slow in the bar for food

There was a function on beside our room , hard to sleep with loud music. Shouldve requested a quiet room. Otherwise eveverything was fine

This may sound petty but there were 2 glass doors in bedroom which were all wrong. The one in the bathroom had net curtain. Very old fashion. There was litter floating around outside. If it was picked up it would give a better impression.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional. Car parking very good. Location good. Bar/restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was really good with a variety on offer.

A small chest of drawers would have been useful to store our smalls etc. We didn't like that there's no safe in the room and no toilet brush.

4.00pm check in is a bit late after travelling a long journey. Suggest reviewing the noon check out time which would allow for an earlier start to servicing arrival rooms and allowing for an earlier check in.

That as a guardian I was not allowed near the kiddies pool while my grandchild was swimming unless I wore a swim costume -I was sitting to the side in my clothes not bothering anyone

The TV had few channels and no ability to connect to phone - no netflix etc. The one picture in the room (same I think in every room) was strange and not to our taste. Breakfast would have benefitted from more vegetarian alternatives (veggie sausages/bacon) but the poached eggs were wonderful and the omelette was massive! Whilst there were a lot of staff present at breakfast, service was disorganised. The Park restaurant (attached to hotel) had very limited vegetarian options but the quality of the food was excellent. Sometimes the leisure facilities were crowded as also used by locals and for swimming lessons. The bottles of water in the room are only given on first day of occupancy - we stayed 5 days and needed to buy more as not given which is a bit mean.

The bedrooms were very large. The beds were massive. The bathroom was perfect and included toiletries in a nicely environmentally friendly format (big bottles not lots of small individual plastics). The hotel was immaculately clean. Staff were very friendly. Leisure facilities were free and great. Food was good. Breakfast was not expensive. Decor was fresh and well maintained. Easy walk into town. Lots of free car parking. A lot to love.

Nothing not to like.

When we arrived, we were upgraded to the bridal suite free of charge. It was very comfortable and spacious. One of the first things we noticed was the beautiful smell in the hotel, and it was so clean. Everything was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. I only found the pillows to be a little too firm for me, I prefer goose feather. My husband had no complaints about the pillows. The pool and jacuzzi were fabulous, and after a long day of walking and sightseeing, it felt great to unwind in the warm jacuzzi. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The coffee was great, too. The staff were very friendly and polite.

Leisure center staff weren't very friendly. The breakfast items were a little cold at the self serve buffet. The window in the room let in a cold draught.

Reception, bar, breakfast, and accommodation Staff were all brilliant, very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the bar was 5 star 👌 absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it. Breakfast was a good selection with good quality ingredients.

only few minor points but a number of small things is potentially a big thing, the devils in the details. 1. light switch as you enter first switch should be entrance light second should main room and the switch closest to the bathroom should be bathroom and there not they are backwards. 2 plug switches they should be USB adaptable 3 TVs need updating to smart TVs not just having remotes that just say smart TVs guys there’s nothing smart about that, it’s like buying a Rolls Royce and telling everyone it’s a Bentley. These might seem like little minor things but 2 of them points if not changed will mean that you know longer have a modern hotel it becomes dated hotel speculate to accumulate apart from these 3 points would I come back definitely bags potential I was in room 321

There is no ac, though you can ask for a fan. There is a ceiling fan but it’s not working. You have to open the windows to get some cool air. The pillows are not so comfortable. Also, they only gave us 1 carton of water for our 2 days stay in there.

Location is perfect! A short distance to good restaurants and grocery stores.

There was an extra charge for breakfast if you decided on the day rather than at check in which we felt was unnecessary and not explained. Noisy residents at 3am!
