Location was great rural and quiet but near enough to places. Newgrange 15 mins, Dublin Airport 45 mins, Coast 30mins etc. Property has own entrance and is well furnished. Bed is extremely comfortable and has a good countryside view. Nick and Sandra kindly left us some breakfast items and some snacks which was very much appreciated. Wifi was good.

Absolutely nothing

Our stay was perfect in every way. The property is super clean ,cleanest property we ever stayed in. Sandra was so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed for breakfast including eggs which was a pleasant surprise and no extra charge. Quiet nights sleep etc, I could go on. Thanks Sandra

Going home! No home is lovely, we live in Clare but definitely want to go back to Nick and Sandra's and explore the area some more. We managed to do a lot even out of season.

Lovely breakfast selection including fresh eggs, real butter, cheese, bread, cereal, coffee and juice perfect for us. Also a lovely bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. The accommodation was homely, comfortable and spacious and perfectly situated to explore the Boyne valley with lots of beautiful countryside and attractions of interest in the area.

Plenty of space for two of us, quiet spot, friendly helpful hosts, booking was ‘room only’ not b&b but plenty of supplies were provided to get us started on breakfasts and more including milk, cereals, fruit juices, bread, eggs etc.

Excellent, well located apartment with nice facilities. We chose this property for the last two nights in Ireland before leaving Dublin airport, which is a half hour drive down the motorway from Slane. Nice hosts, quiet, safe, very clean, comfortable, well equipped, good value.

Absolutely nothing, it was all perfect.

Great location, very comfortable, lots of space. Lovely hosts, Nick gave us a lift to a wedding we were attending nearby, so kind of him. Lots of food for breakfast and snacks left for us in the apartment which was such a lovely touch. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfortable. Amazing value for money overall!

I would highly recommend Nick and Sandra's apartment for anyone visiting the Slane area. We were approx. 10 minutes from Slane Castle and about 20 min. from Newgrange. Sandra was very friendly and the apartment is impeccable. We had been touring around Ireland for almost 2 weeks, and were very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the apartment. It is quite spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable. They also had a myriad of breakfast foods, snacks, teas and coffees which were a lovely added touch. We travel often, and appreciate reviews to help us choose accommodations. We would 100% stay here again if ever back to Ireland. Thanks again Nick and Sandra!

Homely appartment / house with all necessary facilities. Nice rural location and close to Bru na Boinne. Sandra made us feel very welcome and left a full package of goodies for breakfast plus a few more which were very appreciated. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. Felt like a home from home and if plans had allowed we would have stayed longer.

Nick & Sandra are wonderful hosts!! They made sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Their home is out in the countryside -- beautiful setting -- we had a peaceful walk to the end of the country lane.

Nick and Sandra's apartment is lovely and cosy and perfect for a weekend getaway. It's right beside Slane for the concert goers and a short drive from anywhere else you'd like to see around Meath. Sandra was very kind to us from the get-go and made us feel right at home and even had left out a few bits for us to make breakfast and light snacks. I'd highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Well, we liked the warm welcome and the comfortable surroundings. Also the fact that there was food and drinks in the fridge, a hamper with a variety of snacks, which we didn't expect. It felt like home from home. We will definitely pass this information on to our friends.

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect!

Nick & Sandra’s place was perfect for our stay as we attended a wedding in Tankardstown. With the eircode it was easy to find and communication with Nick & Sandra before our stay was great. The apartment itself was spotless, bed very comfortable and all the little extras like toiletries in the bathroom and bits to make a continental breakfast were an excellent addition and really appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and will recommend to others.

It was a bit difficult (at least for us) to find, but Nick intercepted our wandering rental car and guided us to the property!

Spacious quarters and very nice hosts. Property rental did not include breakfast, but hosts provided us with everything from orange juice and milk to cereal and croissants!
