Staff were friendly and helpful, we stayed in room number 7, was very clean and beds were super comfortable! Only thing was you can hear everything outside the bedrooms but other than that it was lovely.

Not a major issue but it took a while for the hot water to kick in when having a shower.

Convenient location as I was attending a wedding at Ballymagavery. (10 minute drive away). Clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was lovely.

We got in late and did not know to check in at the hotel across the street. Other than that hiccup it was a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was outstanding; delicious, copious and varied. Fresh fruit and an extensive menu to select mains from. Location is in center of the village with easy access to pubs and their offerings including music at night. An historic town, great for walks as well.

It was hard finding the Old post office as the door is not marked. It was confusing that we had to check in across the street.

The breakfast was very good and the resturant was very nice.

Ideal location close to Newgrange, good food, friendly staff, but needs more attention to detail.

There was a glitch in booking notification, so we could not find the property, which is not marked from the street. The room was cramped, with a hanging shelf so low that taller customers would hit their heads on the way into the bathroom. The bathroom has no shelving other than a small unfixed glass shelf over the basin. There were ants - lots of them. The window faces onto a tiny courtyard which was brightly lit all night. Just a bit more thought would make a great difference.

Dinner was good. The restaurant could be better laid out for the comfort of guests. The breakfast was good, lots of choice and very helpful and friendly staff.

These are fairly trivial but worth a mention. No hangers in the wardrobe and no remote control for the TV (I couldn’t find one anyway)

Location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff, available parking, Breakfast (Supurb)

Perfect location. We had dinner in Conyngham Arms and breakfast there the next morning. Meals were both excellent, staff were so helpful and our room was just what we needed for a one night getaway. Thank you

We had a great stay! My only comment, which wasn’t a problem - Our bedroom’s windows were a little cracked, and we could feel the wind coming throughout. Happily the heater in the room was super efficient!

Our room was super comfy, we had a great sleep! The bed linen and towels of very high quality. We had a bottle of water in our room, at check-in, which was a nice touch. Just crossing the street from their sister hotel, where you can find the restaurant- food (dinner & breakfast) was yummy! There is another nice restaurant in the town, short walking distance from the hotel. You can also find a little market, walking distance, which was handy. And there is a bus stop is right there, at the hotel entrance.

The guest house worked in tandem with the Conyngham Arms hotel in that it was on the other side of the street but breakfast was in the hotel. Room small but no problem. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very attentive. Recommend

There is no sign for "the old post office". It's run by the Conyngham Arms Hotel, unless I missed that somewhere on the booking.com page, it would have been nice to know that before hand to make life a little easier, so go there to check in!

Room was small and clean, comfortable bed and a big shower!

There were many stains on the carpet and chair. The wifi connection was not stable requiring us to go to the hotel to use our phone and ipad. Since this was the end of our trip, we needed access to the internet for travel purposes.

    The location was very good.
