Deposit taken at hotel which I haven't seen in years. 5 days later and still not returned. There was a a lot of noise coming from the halls with intoxicated guests, no issue, but they weren't told to calm down.

Sadly there was a musty smell in the room when we arrived. We hoped It would dissipate with a bit of fresh air. But it continued and then we noticed the shower wasn’t draining properly. I reported it and was told they would get maintenance on to it. However nothing improved before we left, maybe because it was the weekend. We were rather disappointed as we had an excellent stay previously.

We found staff friendly and welcoming. The bed very comfortable with lovely sheets and charging points at the bedside. The room was a nice size and had chairs and plenty of space for belongings. Parking was good, just a bit challenging on a Saturday night.

There was a wedding while we stayed in the hotel on the first night, the music did go on quite late

Paid for deluxe double, so one double bed. It was 2 single beds pushed together. The zips from 2 single duvets connecting was uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable and felt like I was sleeping in a different bed to my partner, I was very unhappy and uncomfortable about this.

Good variety for breakfast, room was big and spacious.

We had a table booked for dinner at 7 on Saturday evening, but at the last minute it was cancelled, due to another booking. We wanted to see the Ireland rugby match on the big screen, it was disappointing. So we had to go somewhere else.

The hotel expected to hold my husband Debit Card until he checked out and put €150 deposit charge on it which would be returned when he left. This refund would take up to 5 days...this was not acceptable .

Thd hotel, staff, room and food were all excellent. The only problem was with the hotel policy.

There was a overhead light on my side of bed not working and I like to read at night . I thought the breakfast was very poor this time I’m a vegetarian and all I could get was cold scrabbled eggs and cold mushrooms no beans or tomatoes which I have had before and it was only 8.45 am

The hotel is lovely, nice, large foyer. Easy check-in. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms, very big and comfortable bed. The hotel has lovely facilities and a nice bar / dining area. The hotel is situated in a nice location, handy for local shops if anything is needed. Also, in good proximity with the city (good transport links) and other local towns.

Wine in the bar was quite highly priced (€42 for a €20 bottle in the shops). The bottle of wine we initially chose from the menu was not available and we were told that they never had that wine in the first place. No nuts, crisps, nibbles available in the bar. No gin glasses available when gin was ordered. Water pressure in shower was very poor. TV not working in room

Lots of parking available. Nice meal in bar, not overpriced. Efficient check in. Comfortable room and bed. Good quality bedding. Clean, warm, dark and noise free room with all that was needed, towels, iron, kettle, hairdryer, safe etc
