Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandAt times in the restaurant it was hard to get the attention of staff but not a big deal overall.
The room we stayed in was gorgeous. We dined in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. The staff were lovely and gave a personal touch to service. The following morning we got breakfast in our room and this was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again.

IrelandHouse keeping instructions in room not clear, eg, bathroom heating, daily service/cleaning. Some small maintenance needs to be carried out. Room very dark, view of outdoor stairway! Restaurant not open, Bistro menu limited. Not great location for a getaway.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely. Room spacious and comfortable. Short distance from Cork city.

United KingdomThe hotel was sending repeated emails prior to my stay, asking me to book the breakfast slot before my arrival. This was totally unnecessary, as I was staying on a Sunday night. The next morning, while I was having my breakfast in the restaurant, it was not even half full.
Very big room with everything provided. The bathroom had the facility of a bathtub and a separate walk-in shower.

IrelandThere is something wrong with the IT system so I kept getting emails about booking breakfast and dinner even though I had it done. I got a phone call to book breakfast. And I was then asked at reception what time I would like breakfast. And breakfast standard didn't match our expections. Nicer yoghurt and granola would be great. But you can ask for poached eggs. The swim hats which were second hand cost 4 euro each. Should be refundable if you return the hat.
The executive suites are really nice rooms with a lovely shower. The air con is good. It's a great location near the shops, piccolo play village and the gorgeous park. The pool is a great facility. The outdoor seating area is lovely on a sunny day.

IrelandRoom 205 had a problem with sound on our TV. Every time we switch on TV, voices was not working. We had to plug out and cable on the back. The first time this happened, we rang reception for help. Respond was quick. the person who came over knew exactly knew what the issue was. After that, I wasn't bothering to ring them again just done my self. As this was ongoing problem before we checked in we shouldn't be allocated in that room.
Ladies at reception on check-in were very friendly. We had a long conversation about the hotel and our trip.
