Nowhere to place makeup or soap bag in shower room when using…but that seems to be an issue in most b&b’s…where space is limited. We had an early flight which meant we had to checkout before breakfast started. Our hosts gave us a goody bag with juice, cereal bar and apple which was something towards not being able to enjoy their full Irish breakfast.

Location just 10 minutes from Shannon Airport. We arrived early and hosts kindly allowed us access to our room before we visited Bunratty Castle. Plenty of accessible power points. Nice quality towels.

The only small complaint I have is that the room was a bit chilly in the evening for me. But there was electric heater in the bathroom so it helped when we showered.

Sinead and Shane were lovely hosts, the room was new and comfy, so were the beds. Breakfast was also very nice. We only stayed for one night but I would stay there again.

Outstanding B&B. We loved our stay at Parkhead B&B. Sinead and family were wonderful. This was my second stay and will definitely not be my last. Highly recommend!!! Breakfast, room and hosts were all great. Quick walk to the Castle and folk park and an easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher, Limerick and many other places.

If you don't travel by car you have a 20 min walk from the bus stop/center of Bunratty. But they also offer to pick you op or give you a lift if possible.

There was nothing I loved everything

I love the breakfast the owners were so lovely so friendly so kind went out of the way to help us I had lovely conversations I would recommend this b&b I was so lucky to found such a lovely b&b the beds were so comfortable it was such a warm welcome atmosphere I will be back. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the castle it was perfect we had peaceful it was quiet it's perfect and cupcakes at breakfast were delicious ♥️♥️

The hosts were very friendly and make us feel like at home during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, gluten free option are available. The house is situated idyllically. Free parking in front of the entrance to the building. Restaurant & pubs are only one km away. Our stay was wonderful and we regret that we could not have stayed longer!

The location was excellent bear the airport. Parkhouse was inviting and beautifully furnished. Every comfort for the customer was available. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food was prepared like a top end restaurant. Every detail was provided for the customer to have a comfortable, enjoyable and restful stay. The host and hostess were so friendly. Will definitely recommend Parkhouse to others and will stay at Parkhouse again!

There were a few minor issues during our stay. The toilet seat in room 2 was not properly mounted, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Additionally, upon check-in, we noticed a few jellybeans on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up, suggesting that the cleaning could be slightly more thorough. We also experienced some persistent issues with the TV signal in our room throughout our stay.

We had a delightful stay at this charming B&B, conveniently located within walking distance of Bunratty Castle. Shane and Sinead were exceptional hosts; they made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. My daughter Leia was particularly enamored with everything about our visit. Shane generously offered us a lift to the restaurant where we had our dinner reservations, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was superb, offering a wide selection of delicious options. The B&B itself is nestled in a tranquil and picturesque setting, providing a serene escape. Our room was well-appointed with a large, comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We would happily return for another visit!

Excellent location. We booked to stay due to a concert in King john castle and this was only a 15 min drive from the concert so locationwas ideal for us. Hosts were very helpful giving us advice on where to get parking and in general very welcoming. Breakfast was fab and there was a great choice. We couldn't fault the b&b or the hosts and would absolutely book again. Excellent value for money.

The hosts were most welcoming! Great beds, pillows, windows that opened, coffee in room. Toiletries in bathroom nice. Even a washcloth for Americans. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Couldn't be better!

The rooms we had were spacious and had little touches of home like a kettle and tea and coffee. The breakfast was superb and bountiful. Shane and Sinead our hosts are the most generous and friendly people you'll ever meet. It was also a short walk to the center of Bunratty, lots of great food choices there too.
