Location beside motorway for easy access to our event we were attending and a 15 minute drive to city centre. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous even though there was a very big event simultaneously as our stay. Swimming pool was great fun. Depth of 4ft4 perfect for our son.

The windows could have done with a wash.

The premises and amenites were great. The room was big and had everything i needed. The bed was comfy. The food was lovely.

No where did it state Breakfast wasn't included. On Booking.com website, it states child friendly buffet & breakfast in bed as offerings- neither of these state it costs an additional charge. Along with information paper you receive on arrival- this gives information around timings of Breakfast etc. Does not state a cost anywhere. We planned our day around having breakfast at hotel before a long day of travel, once getting to breakfast, only then we are told it's €15 per person, as we had planned we paid this, pancakes were stale, bacon was covered in white "gunk" very average overall - along with not being child friendly at all. Think in future your information needs to be corrected around this on Booking.com. as well as in house on the information you receive.we also had our 2 year old with us, who was given a cot for sleeping- no problem with this, but we weren't supplied bedding for the cot. Overall ruined a good experience the morning of checking out.

My husband went to the spa area and asked for a robes and slippers like all other guest were wearing and was told he should have brought towels from his room. This is really unacceptable another staff member eventually gave him both robe and slippers that he was told weren't available by another staff member.

Pillows were a bit high. Air con system quite noisy but they seem to turn it off late at night so no noise issues at that time.

Excellent value, especially for families. The kids buffet is particularly good value. Very comfortable stay. Great choice for breakfast. The pool is great with lots of hydrotherapy features. Appreciate their environmental campaign to reduce towel changes (guests can opt in and receive a 5€ voucher - nice token).

The facilities in the swimming pool were not working. The shampoo holder in the pool shower was hanging off the wall. The coffee machine in the bedroom didn’t work because it needed descaling.

The staff at reception and restaurant were lovely. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. The food at breakfast and dinner was lovely too. It’s in between Cobh and Cork City, it’s a good location with plenty of parking.

Nice swimming pool. The bedroom was great, on the corner of the hotel with lots of light. EV Chargers were available for our car which was a nice bonus.

We have been staying at this hotel regularly for the past seven years and never have a single complaint. However, our stay on this occasion was a little disappointing. We had dinner on site the first night. The main course was fine, but the desert was not. The brownie was far too sweet, and staff were made aware of this. Nonetheless, we were still charged for it in full! The TV in the room normally has an abundance of channels (including Film 4, which we always make use of), but this time, it was very limited. Some channels (aforementioned) were removed and replaced with a dozen radio channels instead. That made absolutely no sense to us. Also, the doorway leading out to the balcony was extremely low, and we both hit our heads off it! One of the many reasons we revere the Radison Blu above every other hotel we have stayed in is because we are never rushed out of the room on the day of departure. We have always been able to stay in the room past 12:30, but this time, we were reminded to check out. Considering our loyal custom 2/3 times annually over the past seven years, all of these factors are disappointing. We will always feel at home here, but this stay changed our perspective a little.

As always, the Radison Blu was spotless, and the room was spacious. We appreciate having a room with a balcony/terrace. The dinner was nice, and breakfast had plenty of options. The staff were obliging and pleasant as always.

The staff in the leisure facility were quite unpleasant. 3 young individuals behind the desk, one male two female. Laughing and sniggering and very sharp when spoken to. Put us off using it on the second day. Had this same experience with pool staff on a previous stay. Also the pool was quite cold.
