Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandWe were on a respite break so we didnt book breakfast as we were really looking forward to a lie on. Unfortunately we were woken very early by a very loud alarm in the room around 7am which gave us all a fright and woke the little man so we were all up then.
Beautiful hotel though. Very comfortable and staff were lovely. Food was lovely too!

IrelandBar service was very slow. There seemed to be a lot of staff around but no one was serving people at the bar for quite some time. It all looked very disorganised, despite not being that busy . We did book a basic room so can't really complain about the lack of a view, however ours was pretty terrible in that regard. We overlooked some kind of utility courtyard which was pretty grim. For such a short stay this was fine, but for anything longer, it would had been a bigger issue for us. There were no towels in our room when we arrived but, to be fair to housekeeping, they brought some to us within minutes of letting them know,.
We had a brief but pleasant stay at the Raddisson blu. We opted for this hotel for our overnight in Cork due to the more reasonable price than city centre hotels, and because there was ample parking. It is a very short drive from the city and is located in a an area with a lot of retail units, though is still a very quiet hotel. The hotel itself is well presented. The lobby is welcoming and clean. The checkin process was very straightforward and we were in our room a few minutes after arriving. We didn't make use of the spa or pool but they can be seen on entering the hotel, and looked very good. The gym also looks to be bigger than your average hotel gym. The room was tastefully decorated with a perfect ambient temperature. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the complimentary water and nespresso coffee. Overall we left feeling very positive after our stay and we will definitely return when next in Cork.

IrelandThe pool pumps/jets don't all work, and the changing rooms could do with redecorating. The piano in the lobby looks beautiful, but I have yet to see this being played. I have stayed in this hotel many times. A pianist, even just on the weekends, would be nice. This would give the reception area a nice atmosphere.
The beds are very comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. It is good value.

A very impressive foyer and all of the staff were exceptionally professional. The food in the brasserie was very tasty and decent portions. I was delighted that they serve Murphy’s stout on draught in the bar. The breakfast was incredible! The very attentive catering staff lady provided a lovely pot of tea with my breakfast.

IrelandKids hours for pool could be better. We arrived at 7pm when they finish and had to leave at 9am but kids hours only start at 8am. On check in, we were told the pool opens at 6 but kids hours don't start until 8 (sign on door of leisure centre) which is a shame as it would have been nice to be able to go at 7.
Room was lovely and spacious, beds were incredibly comfy! Very clean, only reason it didn't get 10 is the kids hours in the pool.

AustraliaRecommend booking for dinner to ensure there is a table ready to go and oddly enough, table service was slow with the pre-dinner drinks arriving after the mains - not a deal breaker, but surprising....
For a big place, the rooms were surprisingly quiet and buffet breakfast was excellent. It's a little ways outside Cork and if you have appointments in town, make sure you allow sufficient travel time. Large shopping centre within walking distance behind the hotel.

IrelandNot sure if it was the late dinner i got in the hotel but food wasn’t the best and very pricey. Kids menu was good. Some of the things was nothing like what food is supposed to taste like as Eaton Mess on kids menu was nothing like Eaton mess should look or taste like. But it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again !
Really good location. Everything within a drive. Hotel Beside industrial estate with few shops if want to pick up something. Very pleasant staff. Was looking for family friendly hotel and this definitely is. Also has play area outside. Lovely pool with few options of jacuzzi and kiddies small pool. Had Music noise coming from either gym or pool all day but when addressed to staff it was dealt with straight away and lowered. Children got little bag of treats on arrival with little hotel slippers and were delighted. Room has everything you want in it. Breakfast with lots of options and really tasty and good quality breakfast

IrelandWe didn't realise there was going to be a convention off some sort at the hotel during our stay, we felt like we had to leave during the day as the place was so crowded. We did come for a quiet few days away but ended up parking on the grass garden due to the volume off people coming for this convention. I would prefer to knowing if the hotel was going to be so busy. Our room was also situated at the back due to our late check in so we were woken up by bins moving outside early in the morning.
It isn't my first stay at the radisson Blue Cork, both times rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very friendly
