Checking in at 4pm was a little late, I got there at 2pm and had to wait for 2 hours

I would have liked to have been informed that you needed a swimming hat to go in the swimming pool. We have hats so could have taken our own and saved buying new ones at £3 each. Check out was 12, so very convenient. The food in the evening dining room was a good standard. The hotel is very corporate though!

The breakfast was very good. It was buffet style, so you just picked up what you wanted.

When we tried to order food we were told it was too late and that we could only order room service (totally fine). We tried calling through and the front desk picked up. Said they had to chase room service and they would get back to us asap. After almost half an hour we recieved the call to order our food. We are thankful we eventually got some food, but it took a while.

Very friendly staff both the check in person and bar staff. We arrived quite late and we absolutely buggered from a long day driving. We recieved some drink vouchers and breakfast. Which were amazing and much appreciated!

Our bathroom had a strange musty smell. The shower door leaked. There was mould on the net curtains at the window. We got stuck in the lift on our last morning, only for about 5 mins but still not a nice experience! The staff in fairness were apologetic and acted on it as soon as we reported it.

Good location nice and quiet but close to Cork city. Staff very friendly and accommodating especially in the brasserie with our toddler. Our toddler was given a little welcome pack with stickers and crayons that he enjoyed playing with. Breakfast buffet wasn’t extensive but good. Pool is lovely with facilities well kept. We had requested a quiet room which was fulfilled.

There was no earbuds as part of the amenities in the bathroom, we had to ask at reception. There was only a few accessible channels on the television. The room was extremely warm, even with all the windows open and with the fan on max power.

The breakfast was lovely, the room was spacious and tidy. All of the staff were very friendly and went above and answered any questions we had.

Dinner in the Brasserie - we waited quite a while to be shown to a table upon arrival. We didn’t have a booking but there were plenty of empty tables. We felt as though we were a bit of an inconvenience to the young lady seating us to be honest. There were long delays for drinks, in fact we had to chase up our drinks order twice before it was delivered to our table. The same for table water. We only just received our first drinks moments before the meal arrived. That said, both of our meals were absolutely delicious and served within a reasonable time. It’s a shame the bar service was not up to par on this occasion.

Location is a little out of town, one of the reasons we chose to book here. The room it’s was large, clean and well appointed. The bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable. Plenty of parking available. There is a gym, pool and spa on-site but we didn’t use.

It was not easy to use the shower head. When my son was taking a shower, the hose was stuck since it is fixed. When we move the hose down, it was stuck, we had to adjust it many times. Apart from this, our room was not prepared on time, we had to wait for check-in.

Swimming pool was clean. Rooms were big and comfortable. Location is good for families, so close to Airtastic and many other shops. Breakfast is tasty and proper for all different cultures. The people working at the restaurant were so friendly. We had good time with my 7 year old son.

I prefer a free standing shower unit (not a bath with a shower unit built in) the room l found was dark even when the curtains were open

Great location plenty of car parking. train station ten minute walk. the train takes you straight into cork Kent City Centre and cobh. Breakfast excellent all the staff were very friendly

Unfortunately the fire alarm went off 3 times at 5am 5,30am and 7.30 am had very disturbed sleep 😩I know these things happen but really needed a good nights sleep that night 😩

Fixtures and fittings were tired. We had a big stain on our carpet obviously from a leak. The room was large and lovely but was obviously far more luxurious in the past. Needs some love. No door on the cupboard with ironing board etc. dishes left outside our room from a previous guest when we arrived.

The hydro pool,sauna and steam were wonderful. The bed was large and very comfy and staff were friendly and helpful. The scent in the reception was very pleasing and the breakfast selection was fantastic.

I wanted to relax and watch T.V after a long drive. But it didn't work. The aerial came out of the TV when I turned it. Was annoying. Mattress a bit on hard size

Room size was great. Shower pressure also. Plenty of towels and very clean. Water, tea and coffee machine.
