How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a big double bed but my children had a sofa bed where their mattress wasn’t in good shape. There was like a bump in the middle. My children complained about it. The air conditioning stopped 2 times in the middle of the night. I woke up because it became hot and realized the air conditioning was off. It wasn’t a pleasant sleep for us.
In a nice area, big family room.

Two things… Management need to take this on board as the staff on the ground were terrific . 1) it’s probably in the small print that the thermal area in the spa has a charge of €15 euro or there about.But Management need to remind staff to tell this to guests on the spot about this . 2) The steam room was out of order but I was still charged the full amount for using the thermal suit.
The staff…at reception,in the restaurant,the spa and the housekeepers. They were helpful with what to see and do ,kind,respectful and conducted their duties in a professional manner and with lots of charm.

The bedroom walls were very thin, we could hear another couple talking through the walls late at night. Bedroom also only had a rudimentary clean before we arrived.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi was nice. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was extremely busy and not family friendly
The staff were extremely friendly. We were travelling for a celebration for my daughter. The staff gave her a personalised card and gift. This made her feel so special and excited. The staff in the restaurant were also very accommodating when we had a very fussy baby with us.

Jacuzzi was too cold and no option in the ladies locker room to use own lock.

Warm rooms even with thermostat set to 16c and window open, some lighter blankets or a sheet would be nice. Pool area, all rails are rusted, tiles missing from around pool area, scum line in pool (only used it for 15 minutes out of a two day stay), limescale build up all around pool itself. Breakfast was hit and miss, tried fried breakfast the first day everything left in heating pans too long had gone hard and plasticky, had cereal on last day that was good.
Comfortable beds, lovely lobby, bar and function room, steam room and jacuzzi. Jacuzzi could use some maintenance all black non slip pieces missing making it look dirty. Did have issue with fire alarm waking us up at 5:15 on first night but was resolved swiftly. Dinner was very good. Staff all very polite and cheerful.

The machines in the fitness room could be a little bit better
Our stay was as expected staying in a Radisson hotel however Aisling in the reception was very welcoming. We could check-in early, she helped us with suggestions on nearby walking trekks. The access to the Spa was great

Rooms - extremely comfortable Breakfast - excellent except for the fact that coffee was only available from a do-it-yourself machine which is never good. For this one reason I’d skip breakfast next time and find somewhere else. Freshly brewed coffee is a must. Pool - clean facilities and great when there are no kids.

Location superb between Sligo and Rosses Point , All hotel staff from reception to the restaurant exceptionally friendly and helpful . Breakfast and dinner excellent . Fantastic leisure facilities . We had a great stay which was tremendous value too.
