I don't think there was anything i didn't like. Yes, there can be 2-3 things that can be looked after and make it better but that didn't disappoint me at all

Outdoor shower with push button was a challenge.

Lovely host, kind welcoming and lots of helpful info. Very quirky van… heated blanket so it stayed warm all night. Beautiful kitchen and breakfast items, tea coffee etc all available.

The caravan we stayed was lovely, it was decorated very nicely and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are very close to the caravans and the shower was lovely and warm. The staff were so friendly and helped us with anything we needed.

Lots of food available in the cupboards. Looked like the storage isn't at its best. A little management there would save some good food from going bad. Be mindful that the bathrooms are outside and the lights outside our caravan werent working.

The whole place looked beautiful. Artfully decorated with a sustainable twist. Loads of upcycled items. Clean bathrooms. Notes every where with instructions. Easy to navigate.

The showers are button operated at a set temperature and you have to hold the button in otherwise the water turns off quickly. Otherwise no issues, loved our stay.

Quirky property with good facilities. We got upgraded to the bus and it was perfect. Was nice to have the common area to cook dinner in. The continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Our host was lovely, very chatty and had the cutest dog!

Nothing; it was all good. If I had to suggest an improvement, could boxes with lids be provided in the showers to put clothes in so they don't get wet.

Caravans were beautifully restored and very comfortable. Electric blanket was great on the colder nights. Well-equipped self-catering kitchen stocked with basics such as cooking oil, salt, herbs and spices etc. Free tea and proper coffee all day. Free breakfast (cereals and toast) provided which we hadn't expected. Everything was spotlessly clean.

The caravans are decorated really nicely. The beds all have an electric blanket, so they never feel damp. There is a table and chairs outside each one. The showers are hot. There is a nice atmosphere there.

The Wifi in the kitchen I could not log into. I had no trouble with the Wifi in the caravan/room. The bathrooms and showers were nice especially for common-use areas, however I just prefer private bathroom facilities. But this is a glamping site and was aware that the facilities were common use before I booked.

This place really surprised me how nice it was. It is a glamping site so I wasn't expecting the Ritz or anything. But once we got there we really liked the room/caravan. It was cozy and spacious. There was a common area kitchen with everything you would need, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location surprised me the most. I had no idea about Valentia Island, we were there to go to Skellig Michael, but Valentia Island was amazing with lots of outdoor places to visit. Great place to hike, walk the coast, take photos, etc... Retro Caravan was also a bargen$$

Anthea is a super host -she handled everything with ease (even storm Betty). It is a magical place and as a solo traveller I felt right at home. The facilities are excellent and the communal/kitchen space large, welcoming and well stocked with the basics and more . Will definitely return.
