Location was quiet & so peaceful. Breakfast excellent with lots of fresh berries & yogurt plus eggs, cheese, tomatoes & many different breads. Absolutely lovely.

Beautiful property and space. Very high level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Host Elaine was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond taking us & another couple into nearby Carlingford for the evening. We will definitely be back - the outdoor space was lovely too and would be very relaxing in the summer months.

The place itself was beautiful, and so nicely decorated for Christmas. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating and really couldn’t have been nicer. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. Couldn’t fault a single thing! We will definitely stay again if we happen to be in the area!

Lovely place to stay. Close to Ballymascanlan House Hotel and Carlinford Lough. Room was perfect, everything thing was potless. Elaine & husband very nice people and very helpful. Gardens were nice, breakfast was excellent. Views of the mountains from rooms. Parking ia available if required. Would definitely return.

We just completed a month long trip around Ireland, and this was one of the last places we stayed. Of all the places we stayed, this was the best, if you need an excellent guest house near Carlingford, pick Riverside, you will not be disappointed.

Nothing, really. We didn't mind keeping our blinds down once we relaxed a bit during the day since we were located towards the driveway yard..

We had an amazing stay! Our hosts we're very welcoming. Due to a car problem, we thought we needed to shorten our stay and the host was very helpful with trying to get a bokking in place for ours, but luckily, our rental got exchanged and fixed up so we could enjoy our 2 day stay at last. The breakfast options were great, and the offer of fresh fruit was far more than in any place else we've been on our trip to. Great full Irish breakfast, also veggie option, and actually some other guests had distinct requests which were taken care of too. The bed was amazing, and the room and bathroom were clean and tidy, actually prepped with all sorts of thoughtful things! We really did enjoy our stay and took the recommendations to visit some beaches nearby, literally 5min drive away. Would definitely visit again! Thanks alot. We had a splendid end of our Ireland trip.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and far better than some hotels we've stayed in. It is really comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic. It's about a 10 minute drive outside Catligford so it's really quite we would highly recommend Riversde Lodhe and would definitely go back.

Beautiful warm cosy room with excellent attention to detail . Hosts have thought of almost everything you could want. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Our daughter contacted the host and she very kindly left us a surprise gift from our daughter in the room .

It was excellent comfortable 4 poster bed lovely room brilliant breakfast would highly recommend this b and b if you are planning a trip to carlingford and the host was a lovely person even dropped us into carlingford
