Beautiful house and gardens. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. We didn’t want to leave.

Bit annoying not to have tea and coffee facilities in the room , there was none outside my room and I had to walk up a level to get a cup of tea, but that was my only gripe :)

Beautiful grounds - loved the spa and the heated pool and the sauna . room was also very lovely and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud - and the toiletries were also lovely

Great 'country house feel' property in Screebe. Though our stay was only for one evening, it was a great option versus Galway that allowed us to experience more of Co. Connemare. Would definitely look to stay here, but I think there is increase in value if staying more than one night. Staff was kind and accommodating and breakfast was great!

We enjoyed a three night stay at the hotel, and had a wonderful time. The surroundings were stunning and the spa and pool were so well maintained. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and did all they could to make our stay an enjoyable one.

Beautiful property with stunning views of the lough from my room. Lovely dining room and shared drawing room, while a fine manor house the environment was relaxed and welcoming. The staff was exceptional and I felt completely looked after from the moment I made my reservation and received a message inquiring about any allergies and/or preferences for dinner. The meals were clearly developed and expertly prepared, the parsnip mash with my beef filet was divine!!! I will be back for sure and hopefully for more then one night to enjoy the spa and pool.

Hard to fault. One small quibble - would scrap the PVC windows when you are next renovating!

Beautiful quiet location on the shores of an inlet - an historic fishing/hunting estate. Safe for swimming. Small, private spa with sauna, pool and exercise room. Lovely dining room with excellent food (dinner and breakfast) - we skipped lunch! We stayed in room 4 (the best - worth asking for) - wonderful view over the water and mountains. We took a guided walk up one of the nearby hills (4 hours) - highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel in an amazing location. The facilities were an added bonus especially the drawing room for drinks and the pool. The view from the room was fabulous. We are already planning to come back so we can have dinner in the restaurant next time.

staff - the whole team at Screebe House were exceptional! attentive, friendly, Trish was an absolute dream, I cannot remember the exact names but the waitress covering on Sunday morning gave some helpful advice re a cycle ride and isolated beaches to cycle to! the views - absolutely stunning, beautiful location breakfast- wonderful spa facilities - amazing

stunning decor, beautifully appointed with bespoke pieces of furniture. boutique to its core and wonderful helpful staff who cannot do enough for you , especially the delightful, delectable and fabulous Trisha! bikes available and the team at the hotel have fab great recommendations. food exceptional! oh and did I mention Trisha ? she absolutely made our trip.

We accidentally booked a room in the pool house, as it’s not specified on booking.com. So be careful to look at the photos or check with the property directly if you want to stay in one of the beautiful rooms in the manor. The staff couldn’t have been nicer though and all of the lovely extra touches during our stay more than made up for our initial disappointment!

We had a fabulous stay at Screebe for our mini-moon. The facilities, food, cocktails were all wonderful. We loved the outdoor hot tub after a dip in the sea! Staff are all so helpful and accommodating and made it a weekend to remember for us.
