Sorry it was not clean, you can hear people talking in the other rooms through the walls, very old house I think. I don't know if it is the carpets but it did not smell very good inside the hostel. No lockers in the room, only in the corridor and you have to pay for it (be careful if you have a suitcase or a very big bag it will not fit it in the biggest locker... And not so many luggage storages nearby so it can be a problem !) . Too many beds in a room, so there is absolutely no space inside the room (and people with suitcase or those who don't want to pay for lockers leave their luggage in the room so you really have no space at all). If you don't have the choice or really are on a budget and still want to be in the center, then it can be an option but you will not be spending a very good time there and have any confort unfortunately.

Is was the cheapest place to stay in Cork the night I was there, and very good location (on a hill, so a bit steep to go there ; it is near St Patrick's hill).

The rooms are tiny (i had a 4 bed dorm), you can hear everything what‘s happening outside, the kitchen is not very clean and the price for a Hostel dorm room is ways too much.

The staff was super friendly, the laundry service ist great and it is located central.

There seem to have been music playing all night long.... The common toilets were so dirty.... blood stains on the floor and seat... really gross. the room was very narrow and when I climbed on the top bunk it made the whole bed wobble. And I was a little too hot, but that's cos I live in an igloo (badly insulated stone cottage in the West..)

Loved the location, everyone was super friendly, loved that the room was dark at night, the mattress was comfy.

Extremely thin walls. Could hear the people in the next room snoring. But not much they can do about that

The staff were great and this hostel is much cleaner than some of the other ones I’ve stayed in while in Ireland

The place was well equipped for what was offered in the price. The receptionist (didn’t see his name) was professional and friendly, who checked me in and out of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and tidy, and the place appears well facilitated, though did not get the chance to use them. Bed was surprisingly comfortable and slept through! Breakfast, which I believe starts from 8 am, although there is a self-service kitchen if one wishes to make breakfast earlier. There are seated rooms with tables and charging outlets. When back in Cork I’ll definitely consider staying here again to get the full experience.

A bit pricey for a hostel, but I guess this is the reality in Ireland now. I missed more lockers in the room, too. There were 2 lockers for 4 beds, so I had to rent a paid locker to leave my bag during the day.

Great location, friendly staff, the room and common areas were very clean.

Great location and the staff were really friendly. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm and slept pretty well as the bed/duvet/pillow were surprisingly comfortable 😁 didn't have a chance to use any of the facilities as I literally only slept there and left first thing, but the bathroom and bedrooms were very clean and it's a beautiful building. Would definitely stay again to get the full hostel experience

It was very noisy at times during the night- guests making lots of noise in the corridors. Staff were very helpful with this. Cold showers.

A good location. Parking available. Common areas to enjoy. Friendly and helpful staff. Shop at reception.

Bathrooms need a renovation. They weren't too clean, I think there was even a mold on the walls around showers. No place to put your stuff in the shower so it doesn't get wet. One shower had no locker so there was basically only 1 shower in the bathroom for both men and women.

Very basic hostel. Nothing too crazy. Good place for a night in Cork. Room was busy but what else do you need besides bed. Common room for everyone on the ground level was a nice place.

It's a hostel so bathrooms vary in state based on users. The breakfast looked v v basic, I'd recommend just grabbing a coffee and croissant from the spar round the corner

Loads of spots to work and a decent sized kitchen. Also fab location.
