Starting from the location, through the standard of the place and facilities, all the way to the excellent service from Clare, Clara Lodge is THE place to stay. We've spent the weekend at Clara Lodge while going to the JAPfest in Mondello Park. It is easily one of the best places I got to stay at so far. There was not a single thing I could say was not up to standard. Excellent place! Thank you Clare for the amazing service!

Clean, tidy and had all the facilities we needed! Lovely large double room with en-suite with a lounge space next door that had cooking facilities, an honesty bar, pool table, darts board and TV - perfect for chilling out in the evenings! The complimentary tea/coffee and breakfast items were also much appreciated! Lovely rural location but only a 20 min walk into Sallins where you can pick up a regular train into Dublin. Would recommend!

The lodge/bedroom was clean and cosy, the bar area with the pool table was a great communal feature, great communication with Kerry/Clare, good value for money, close to Sallins village and 10 mins from Naas town, would stay again.

Clara lodge lived up to what was described and shown in pictures. Host was very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and very modern and living space was more than what was required. Would happily stay again or recommend to others.

Though impeccably clean the showeroom sink was inaccessible due to an impractical shelf above.

A tranquil hideaway elegantly presented, pristine though characterless double room in secure homestead. Self service, satisfactory breakfast in an adjacent games room. Very practical for visiting Kildare, a car is essential.

Items for self service continental breakfast available in ‘Haydn’s Bar’ shared with a similar spacious ensuite facility with wet-room shower (the Bar also containing table and benches at which to consume your own food, purchase drinks via ‘honesty-box’ purchase, and play billiards or darts, &c). Accommodation located away from the owners’ house within a large security-gated garden, in a rural setting though within easy reach of towns Sallins, Clane, and Naas; to locate the premises requires a Google Map or Satnav featuring Irish Postcodes. Quick and easy route to Dublin car ferries, places of interst Kildare, Castletown, Maynooth, &c. Welcoming and interested hosts. Modestly priced and so good v f m.

Such an ideal location,lovely quite area not too far from punchestown racecourse.Our host Kerry,was"Spot On"such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived.Room was big&spotless!!Kerry was so accommodating helping us out with taxis,he literally couldn't do enough for us.Facilities were unreal..plenty to keep you entertained on site,TV,Pool&Darts.Complementary Continental breakfast was on offer,plus water if needed.Our fav of all tho was the honesty bar,such a brilliant idea!!Well stocked&something for everyone, fridge full with nice cold beer.Really enjoyed our stay so much...can't wait to go back.
