The bathroom needs to be updated. the toilet seat was messed up. The tile had been painted. They need a table in the bathroom to hold your items. No phone in the room.

Moldy shower was a big let down. It is pretty noisy from the traffic outside, but I knew that before booking.

The bathroom was dirty and some parts were broken. For 140EUR the standard is very low even compared to average B&B prices in tourist areas like Cork.

Calling an establishment a Bed and Breakfast when it only offers a bed at 126 euro is not value for money. while I understand that it probably can't offer a breakfast perhaps it should offer some sort of take away breakfast to justify the price charged.

The room was clean and ok for one nights accommodation. The staff were pleasant.

No breakfast, so it shouldn't be called B&B. The door of the shower was too tight, I couldn't get in and have a shower

Not in the centre if that's a requirement, but it's only ten minutes to walk, and not many pubs around (the hotel is above one though!). The ensuite would, being honest, have been better left out as to sit on the toilet required a lot of contortion skills to shimmy between the sink and wall... but I'm not the slimmest person, admittedly, so you maybe fine!

There are quite a few pubs with rooms along the road, as is usual by railway stations, and they all look pretty much the same on B.com and from the outside; I chose this as it had space and was a decent price. Separate door for the hotel bit, the guy from behind the bar checked me in with a typically Irish understated welcome. Everything was fine, the room slightly old school and could benefit from a refresh but everything I needed was in there, comfy bed, working electric plugs, decent shower etc. Checkout was simply leave the key on the desk. Perfect for early trains from the station.

The light on the outside landing wasn't working & we were on the top floor. The place needs a bit of updating but adequate for one night.

Clean & in a good location. You could park outside but it wasn't clear for how long? We parked overnight and paid up until 6pm & also in the morning.

Could only find one socket for charging but will bring a 4 way next time.

Didn’t get breakfast but no big issue and the location to the train station and city centre was spot on. No hassles from the owners. Room was grand for my purpose as I was only down for the River Lee Swim and the double bed was very comfy. Coffee and Tea facilities in the room.
