Tiny shower cubicle in my room which probably could be bigger, rainfall shower didn’t suit the size of the little shower.

Beautiful luxurious decor, perfectly clean, free bottles of water in bedroom, very helpful receptionists, great breakfast, friendly atmosphere and fabulous gardens and courtyard and lovely and quiet.

Parking is a bit of a walk if you are traveling with any large luggage. Doable, but a bit of a walk.

Lovely breakfast and staff. Great location!

What always bugs us a little about hotels in Dublin. Very little space for clothes. But it's the same in most hotels so you need to lower your expectations if you're a first time visitor to Dublin. So not really a minus, just the value not keeping up with the price there.

It was a great Hotel for our group. The garden (order a cappucino), the lobby, service and atmosphere, breakfast etc. The closeness to Stephen's Green and Grafton Street is a huge plus. We didn't have to use any taxis at all. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms.

An absolutely excellent hotel. We hugely enjoyed our stay and would find it hard to think of any way in which it could be improved. We would certainly return to it on a future trip.

This is a very elegant yet friendly, relaxed and comfortable hotel. It is in an exceptional position in terms of ease of access on foot to the centre of Dublin, being close to the National Gallery, Trinity College and Dublin Castle. It looks towards public parks both back and front, and certainly the room we had was wonderfullly quiet at night. The room was also very well appointed. Indeed the decor throughout the hotel is maintained to a high standard. Breakfasts offer a good choice with high quality ingredients whatever the selection made. As befits the hotel, all members of staff are polite, attentive and efficient. The manager was also much in evidence, keeping an eye on the smooth running of the establishment - always a good sign.

Location is excellent, we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to visit. Two minor comments, no car park and no elevator to the upper floors. Hotel gets a discount at a parking garage about a 5 - 10 minute walk. Everything else was great!

The dining room was over my room this time and I was woken by someone walking across the creaking floorboards at 2am (probably setting up for breakfast) but honestly it is hard to find fault with Stauntons on the Green. It's pretty close to perfect!

The location is superb. The staff are always friendly and the Harry Clarke window in reception is such a treat to see every time I stay. Love the Iveagh gardens at the rear of the hotel. The 4 complimentary chocolates work well with the complimentary coffee and the Voya shower products are an added bonus.

I could not have asked for better. If I could think of one thing is having a mixture of hot and cold water in the face basin. It was either very hot or very cold.

I did not have the breakfast but I enjoyed the free scones and biscuits left in my room daily. The location was ideal for easy transport and within walking distance to Grafton street, eating places and other attractions. The room was nicely decorated, clean and had a lovely view of the gardens. I looked forward to returning at the end of the day.

Our room was in the basement. The space was great, but it had a very musty smell, and the bathroom stayed damp. Also, it was ridiculously expensive, as prices were hiked for St. Patrick's Day.

Fabulous location, nice breakfast, multi-bed room (great for families), nicely decorated.

Lovely setting, luxury feel. Huge King double. The bathroom was tiny, could barely turn around in it, and somehow, the bedroom was so HOT without any heat on. We had to ask for a fan (in March), and it wasn't plausible to open the windows, on the main street with no screens.

Setting was gorgeous, rooms luxurious, staff accommodating. Location amazing.

This property needs to rethink the cleaning products they use. Everything was clean, but the strong chemical smell was overwhelming. Luckily we had a terrace room and could keep the window open at all times. It would’ve been difficult to sleep otherwise.

    Excellent location. Fairly comfortable beds.
