It is a tight squeeze driving through town in front of the B&B with a car or to park in their private drive. However, there are car parks a short distance in either direction, and there are far more things to like about Stirabout Lane, including the helpful host.

Fabulous location to get to Glendalough, National Botanic Gardens in Kilmacurragh, Mount Usher Gardens. Lovely breakfast choices and comfortable room. Easy walking to restaurants and grocery store.

Excellent place for a quiet getaway from Dublin. Wonderful room, breakfast and conversations with the host. Both Brittas Bay and Glendalough are 20 minutes drive away.

As soon as you walk in through the front door, after being welcomed by Daphne, you know you are in a place that is lovingly cared for and is all about making you comfortable. Absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Right down to the gorgeous hand towels, the cups and saucers, everything was just beautiful. The garden was so lush and beautiful. The weather allowed us a hour or so to sit outside, sipping drinks while enjoying the birds and peace of the garden.  Breakfast was delicious and generous with great choices. Daphne also helped us out with suggestions of where to visit - including suggesting a gorgeous beach walk where we got to see seals playing close to the beach. This is why B & Bs are so good - the personal touch. A wonderful B & B. Highly recommend.

Everything was fabulous. The b&b is quite stunning. Bedroom was beautiful with a very comfy bed and so creatively presented. There was attention to detail throughout. And it felt homely and welcoming. The host is a delight.

I loved everything about this BnB. Daphne is a fantastic host and made me feel welcomed and 'at home'. The place gorgeous; beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here. I also enjoyed a lovely meal at the pub down the road; Jacobs Well. The food was great and the staff were warm and friendly too.

From the moment you step in you can feel this homely atmosphere, with very friendly host's and detailed decoration around the entire house. Our room was very spacious, quiet, beds were comfortable, amazing breakfast...there is a nice, cozy sitting room and a beautiful garden behind where you can have a walk or enjoy just sitting in perfect silence.
