Everything was perfect 👌

Great location, beautiful and peaceful place at the coast. Close to the big , amazing beach, great place for surfers or for nice long walks. Around 30 min drive to Ceide Fields ( archaeological site of North Mayo) and around 20 min to Downpatrick Head. The host Michaela was amazing. Very nice and helpful person. She provided all the information about the area, what to see, where to go. And breakfast...very very good typical irish breakfast with joghurts, cereals and fruits. Highly recommended place!

I would not change a single thing. I knew in advance of booking that my little dog could not be in the room but she happily sleeps in the car.

The reception was so very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, comfortable and had the promised view. The breakfast was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. I did not need lunch for the four days. I have kept photos of the “Mayo Fry” as my new gold standard!

Very lovely and special place to be. We extended our stay, because it was so beautiful and cosy. Michaela was very nice and made a very delicious breakfast. Overall exceptional service. We can highly recommend this place!

The location is great and the property is spotlessly clean. Michaela is the perfect hostess. She couldn't have done more for us. She anticipates your need even before you have fully formulated it yourself!

Our hostess was wonderful ! Everything was perfect. The accommodations were top notch, beautiful room and bathroom with lighted candle and sweets to make us feel welcome. And a scrumptious breakfast ! The location is great if you’re looking for beautiful scenery and quiet. We recommend absolutely.

We highly recommend this place for people that are searching for peace, quiet and relaxation. The owner is very friendly, doesn’t cause any problems and will always help you. The home is very well looked after. Not far from the home there is a local bar where you can have a few pints. For dinner you must go to a different town, around 12 km from there. There is a beach very close where you can walk around and enjoy the view. We highly recommend this

Nearly indescribable the experience in all its minimum details. We've never been so very welcomed before. The hostess was attentive, courteous, and we had the most enjoyable talk in the morning. And so her husband and son. The whole place was spotless and impeccable and breakfast wonderful. The bath sheets smelled like a meadow and I'll remember the shower forever haha. I'd have stayed for another night if it would be possible. I could keep reeling off all things I liked, actually. But can't forget to mention the cutest dogs Aufie and Bella.

I felt that the address was misleading as I expected to be in Ballina whereas in reality it was in a remote albeit beautiful location 30 mins from Ballina.

So clean throughout, very good breakfast. Lovely hosts, couldn't be nicer. Loved the dogs! Great view and location. Lots of helpful information about local area, history and places to eat, explore. Tea /coffee/snacks in room as well as complimentary wine and not to forget the motion sensor in the WC to find your way in the dark- brilliant 😀. Very happy to recommend. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of options and prepared by the host. You had a feeling that you are like a part of family but at the same time with great freedom and support in your exploration plan of the area. There is also beautiful scenery with cliffs and an amazing beach. A great view of the sea from your window makes this spot perfect for a nice getaway. The hosts were very welcoming, open and supportive. We would definitely recommend this place for your stay if you planning to travel to the area.

RTÉ Irish tv was not available which was disappointing as President Joe Biden was visiting Ireland and we wanted to watch the tv coverage of his visit especially to County Mayo.
