Not really a property thing but more accurate info and directions on the ‘nearby’ parking would be helpful. It is pretty close but I can imagine it being a bit miserable on a rainy day. Directions on short cut through train station would be useful, unless of course you have a lot of luggage.

Really, nothing to whine about.

It's a fun place to stay. They have turntables & vinyl records in a big room. The sauna, stream room & pool are excellent & free. Sophie's on the top floor has very good food at a decent price. All of the staff were very friendly & helpful. This is now among my favorite hotels. Highly recommend.

Only one thing, and really it was my partners observation, is that the room we had didn’t have anywhere really to hang clothes.. but that was him and not me..lol I loved it all!!!

We loved the fact that is was different from other hotels in its individualistic look but still had an air of luxury throughout the hotel.. I have papped loads of Wall papers and other cool design ideas.. for my own home, thank you for proving inspiration! Also the staff were amazing! I can’t say enough about how warm and friendly they all are!!!

A Shower cap in the bathroom would be great, a reminder about the car parking options is essential, as I thought the Railway Car park was for the Hotel. Tourists would not know this either

my second stay in this hotel and both times have been fantastic. The staff are excellent, the rooms are gorgeous and the beds are super comfy. I love the little touches like the record player in the bedroom. My only complaint is that I didn't have longer there to enjoy the facilities a bit more.

The fire alarm in my room went off twice, on consecutive days. Staff said a smoker in some room would have prompted the alarm. Strange answer....Each time I was awakened from sleep, very disorienting.

The receptionists are a bit snobby and rude. I asked if we could extend our stay for one more night, and she looked at me as if I had 2 heads. Not all of them are like that, but I have encountered 2 of them during our stay

I was not a fan of the snacks in front of the bed in the room. You see that last thing to go sleep and first thing in the morning.

The hotel is situated practically on Kent Station railway line. The room next to this was very noisy with the trains. The lack of wardrobes and doors was a bit of a nuisance but staff provided us with a coat-rail which was better that the hooks on the wall.

All the staff were exceptionally professional; friendly; welcoming and helpful. When we arrived the reception could not have been more helpful. In particular, Eimear, Manager, was so patient and understanding with us as we were not happy in our room and she was able to provide us with an alternative one. Gabriel and Kim made our visit to Sophie’s restaurant so lovely. All the staff in Sophie’s were great. The young bartender in the downstairs bar was also great. As I said previously all the staff we met made our stay at the Deane. They are a credit to this hotel.
