We received a warm welcome from Sue the day we arrived who was very informative and helpful. The house is warm, comfortable, modern, and spacious. The views of the harbour are very beautiful. The location is great. A clean, pretty village with friendly people. We loved our visit. Thank you.

Nice place, clean, didn't get to meet host, we got in late, left early. Location was very nice, great restaurant close by.

The beds were not the best, but they got the job done. Also, the shower in our room seemed to be missing 1/2 the glass door. I think it was intentional, but it made showering a little more complicated trying not to get water everywhere.

The location was great, right on the harbor. It was about a mile walk into town, but there were plenty of food and drink options near by the hotel. We had an view of the bay from our room, it was lovely. The room was large and offered a little sofa as well. Checking in was smooth and we had no issues.

The location was excellent ...... not in the busy centre of town, but on the waterfront of the estuary and harbour with beautiful views and ideal for walks and quiet evening meals and sunsets. It is approx a 30min walk in to the centre of town. The property is ideal for visiting Westport House and the beautiful grounds and it is an ideal place to stay to access the wider area of Mayo. We visited lots of amazing places, all within an hour drive. There is free roadside parking around the B&B, but if they are taken then there are lots of pay and display spaces around the harbour at a very reasonable rate for overnight/all day parking.

Nearby Westport town was very busy, so it was lovely to come to the quieter Quay area. We could easily walk to a nearby pub for dinner. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great.

Its an old property so you will get creaks & hear people but was no problem for us at all

The warm welcome we received from Sue on our arrival after a long drive (in terrible weather!) was fantastic! She even offered to make us some toast! We stayed with our young dog who is overfriendly to say the least but Sue was very understanding & Sadie loved her! Lovely comfortable room (number 7) fantastic views !

A wonderful place to stay. Room with a view made it even better. Nice seating area downstairs and tea, coffee, fruit, and sweet treats provided also. Great location to enjoy the scenery, short drive into the town which is really lovely.

Noise from rooms on the same and other floors was very annoying. No refreshing of towels, toiletries, coffee etc. over a 3 night stay.

Only thing not great was climbing stairs to room, but the view was worth it!

Location was out of town center, but very picturesque, with waterfront view from our room. Comfy bed, very clean. Sue was a great and attentive host for breakfast, which was delish. Great restaurants close by and cutest book shop right down the road.

The walls perhaps maybe a bit thin, we had a knock on our door to turn tv down( wasn't even on loud) same person in next room, you could hear snoring very loud!!!

Water pressure in the shower could be higher

Very conveniently located, great staff and coffee. And as a bonus I had a reflexology treatment. And irs just down the street from really good food.

The place exceeded my expectations greatly. It was fantastic value for money. Sue is the perfect host. She is so friendly, warm, welcoming and couldn't do enough for the guests. I got two fabulous treatments from her, reflexology and a detox bath. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them and felt great after. She's fantastic at what she does. Will definitely be visiting again.
