Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe room was microscopic, barely suitable for one person. Way too small. Only adequate for sleeping.
Lovely hotel qith a very cozy and trendy decoration. Excellent location, in the middle of downtown and tourist attractions. Lots of things to do nearby.

United StatesYou can only get out of bed on one side which meant one of us had to climb over the other to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Not convenient.
The staff was helpful and the breakfast was great. The shower was exceptional--lots of hot water and terrific water pressure. I like that the toilet and shower are separate.

CanadaSometimes, the water was coming in spurts, or pressure was low, and water was not available. Floor was a bit sticky when we moved in. We were a bit confused about the light system and how to keep the aircondiioner on while sleeping.
The staff were very helpful. The location is perfect. Excellent advice about aircoach to Dublin airport. We appreciated being able to store our bags on the last day.

United StatesThe rooms are small and because of the positioning of the bed, the person sleeping at the window may have trouble getting out of bed.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms were well designed to make the most of the space. There modern and eco friendly touches such as the intelligent control modules. We didn't spend much time in the lobby and restaurant area but they looked nice. Location wise it was right in the heart of Dublin, we walked everywhere from the hotel even though we had a rental car. Parking was nearby and the hotel provided a discount at a specific garage (make sure you ask which one) so parking was very reasonable. Staff was always friendly and professional. I was hesitant to stay at first because some reviews mentioned the rooms were very small but Adam assured us there should be space for two adults, 2 carry-on suitcases and 2 backpacks and he was right. We were glad we chose this hotel and highly recommend it if you don't have lots of luggage. The room was a good size for us and we never felt cramped. We liked that the toilet and sink were in a separate space from the shower. Both spaces were quite large in comparison to other places we stayed.

ItalyDisclaimer: the hotel is really great and the following comments are purely meant to help travellers managing their expectations. - Make sure you are space aware when you book your rooms. The snug I booked (deliberately and being well aware of how super tiny it was) doesn't fit a big luggage open and barely a hand luggage open (you'll need to close it and keep it closed to avoid bumping into it). - Unfortunately Dublin has shocked me for the amount of homeless people and the immense crowds of "happy" people in the nearby pubs. Unfortunately someone belonging to one of these categories of people thinks that using the hotel street as a toilet for large "deposits" almost daily is a good idea - that was unpleasant and maybe the hotel could invest in some form of security to keep an eye to the lane, that would give guests some extra comfort and safety
Staff really is the gem of this hotel! Everyone from reception to restaurant to housekeeping has been exceptionally kind and professional. Breakfast is great, full fry up and plenty of sweet options too. Room is as described, bathroom bigger than expected for the snug room. Location is excellent - I was travelling for business but wanted to stay near the centre. Despite Dublin is one of the busiest cities I've ever seen, with super crowded pu s and streets until very late at night, the hotel was super quiet!

BelgiumThe rooms are quite small and because of the positioning of the bed, the person sleeping at the window has trouble getting out of bed. Also not that much space to open larger luggage although the rooms do have nooks and crannies to stow things during longer stays.
A nice and cosy eco-hotel in Central Dublin, close to pubs and shops but in a quiet corner. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and varied.

United KingdomNothing :) a faultless stay.
The rooms have been designed very well to make the most of the space, decor was lovely and there lots of modern and eco friendly touches which made it stand out. The lobby and restaurant area were a really nice vibe and we had a really good breakfast. Much nicer than your usual hotel breakfast. Location wise it was right in the heart of Dublin, we walked everywhere from here. Great value for money. Staff always lovely. So glad we chose this hotel, Would highly recommend. Don't let the look of the small rooms put you off. They're still a good size for a couple. Never felt cramped, so long as you don't have a tonne of luggage.

United KingdomA room is smart but very small. That is fine per one person but is quite tiny per two people. There is no wardrobe and could be good to have at least a shelf for clothes. We couldn't unpack our bags for the that reason.
Location is great right in the city centre, friendly and helpful stuff, very comfortable bed, good shower.

United KingdomThere is no parking available, but plenty very nearby although quite expensive (15 euro overnight / 20 euro 24 hrs).
This is a very well located Hotel for the city centre and cultural sights. The rooms are well appointed and very modern - we were 'upgraded' to one with single beds to give us more space but the standard double (Snug Nest) was good too, although limited in space. The breakfast was extensive and varied and the general eating/relaxing area was nicely appointed and quiet.
