Would have preferred a TV in room. A minor thing…I don’t quite enjoy taking shoes off at entrance and wearing borrowed slippers. I do respect the preference as we have friends who do it but it’s the first time I see it at a BnB. Not a dealbreaker by any means but as an FYI.

Amazing view and wonderful recommendations by the hosts. Barry and Jens are friendly and knowledgeable and the place is stylish and sophisticated without being precious. Delicious breakfast as well, in either of their 2 nice spaces. But the sunroom is perfection! They adapted to my allergen needs very well. Do love it is a retreat for adults only. Would stay again!

Exceptional stay here. Views were stunning, accommodations comfortable and breakfast was awesome. Perfect launch pad for the Ring of Kerry. Kenmare was nearby. Hosts are the best!!!

Beautiful views. We loved this stay! The location offered easy driving to the town, wonderful nature and cultural sites, and hiking. Barry and Jens took such good care of us and the other guests. The breakfasts were remarkable. The time spent helping us plan out daily routes and activities was very kind and helpful.

Wonderful place with wonderful owners! We stayed for two nights, and everything was great. The house is perfectly clean, the views are amazing and, what melt my heart, owners are very attentive to make a good atmosphere. From breakfast serving to every detail in home decoration. We will be happy to come back!

We were returning to Valhalla BnB after our 2022's stay. Again for 3 nights. An awesome stay again. Such a beautiful place. It felt like coming home. Barry and Jens are courteous hosts. The room was in a superb condition as well as the whole BnB. We liked the chats at breakfast even though they were busy to make it an experience for us. Again "The cake of the day" was outstanding. Talk to them to get advise for your trips at the Ring of Kerry it is worth it. We'll definitely come back ! Hugs and love from Hamburg ;-)

Wonderful location with a stunning view across the bay and the Beara peninsula. Excellent breakfast lovingly prepared by Jens and Barry who are wonderful hosts. They made our stay an exceptional experience. Equipped with tips and routes by our hosts to dicover the area, the days just flew by. And there is so much more to discover....5 days are barely enough. Big thank you and stong "recommend".

Valhalla BnB is located about 10 away from then center of downtown Kenmare which is prefect for a quiet day, evening and night, yet close enough to enjoy the pub scene. The grounds are very well manicured and we’ll taken care of. Room had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The views of the bay from the property are stunning! The best part of the property was our hosts. Welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive… I can go on. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not regret it.

Our stay with Barry and Jen was simply incredible! The location is amazing (we have a sea-view bedroom) and our hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, Barry gave us great recommendations to visit the Ring of Kerry - our only regret was that we had to leave after 2 nights!

Our hosts provided a superior ambience in terms of furnishings, colors, textures, and views. They were warm and inviting, knowledgeable about local attractions, restaurants, and roads. The hosts engaged in sophisticated conversation and shared in easy bantering. Our breakfasts were based on our selecting from menus items that were fresh, homemade, and presented with aplomb. Our stay was so compelling that we could have stayed a month longer.

Hosts Barry & Jens are very welcoming and made us feel home. The are very attentive and take their time for a nice chat. We never feeled in a hurry. The B&B is very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the available options for a continental style breakfast as we prefer it over a cooked breakfast. We can highly recommend that B&B.

Their colorful gardens stretched out high above the Atlantic and the house is beautifully appointed. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Barry and Jens have a gift for hospitality and their beautiful home is a jewel. They anticipated our every comfort and provided sumptuous breakfasts and rich travel counsel that greatly enhanced our trip to Kerry.

Barry and Jens are fantastic hosts. Incredibly friendly and always willing to provide suggestions for sightseeing or dining that were always on point. the breakfast was delicious and it is easy to have eyes too big for your belly. the eggs were made perfectly to order ;)

I have never seen such attention to detail in the provision of a B&B service. They could not go to any greater lengths to ensure you have everything you need, Staying there was a treat. Exceptional breakfast served by hands encased in white linen gloves. The place was absolutely spotless.
