A cold water plunge pool would be a fabulous addition to the spa. Also, the jacuzzis had a layer of dirt on them!

Fabulous stay. Loved our little cottage. Food was delicious in the restaurant.

When booking, request a room on the top floor. The houses are quite old, (very comfortable and well appointed), but anyone walking or talking in the room above you will be loud enough to keep you awake if you are a light sleeper. If you aren't, then this note isn't for you!

The staff couldn't be nicer. The location is beautiful. The food is fantastic, as is the outdoor thermal spa area. Lovely place to unwind and relax.

Taps in both kitchen and bathroom were loose and require fixing. Front door was very difficult to lock/unlock. Very late check-in

Dinner in The Mill was fabulous with exception of one of our party who felt the Black Sole was bland. No other complaints. Breakfast was superb. Beds extremely comfortable although rooms a bit too warm even with windows open.

The only dining option in the evening is the Mill Restaurant, which is fantastic for one evening but would have liked an alternative for night two. I didn't notice when booking there was no bath in the cottage, my own fault but would choose one with a bath next time

I absolutely loved the cottage, the whole vibe in the place is fantastic, the cottage was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, the Mill restaurant is also fantastic!

Check in is 4 but we were lucky to get check in at 3 but the price we are staying would have liked to check in from two

Only minor complaint would be cleanliness. Some showers fairly cobwebbed but that is being very picky. Would highly recommend still

Incredible place, loads to do, spa fantastic, rooms quirky, food and drink brilliant. Best thing was probably the staff who were so friendly and also good fun. The extra effort made and set menu for New Year’s Eve was incredible!

Bathroom was very cold. Cleaning was not up to standard. Shower screen was dirty, there was a layer of dust on the drinking glasses and the tissues box was empty.

    Great location and fabulous setting.
