Fab location, lovely property. Liked the set up in the bedroom with 2 comfy chairs and views in 2 directions. Loved the breakfast. Suzanne made us very we welcome and could not do enough to make our stay an absolute pleasure. Good to get away from theTV for a few days.

Exceptional in every way. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a b&b room that has been so carefully thought out - mine even had a walk in wardrobe. But Suzanne, the host, really made everything special. I don’t think I will ever forget my stay in this beautiful lodge in a stunning part of the world.

Beautiful location with scenery of the forest. The lodge itself was wonderful and cosy. Felt right at home. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a cherry on top. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect! We were lucky enough to be the only guests for 4 nights and it was perfectly calm and relaxing. The place is spotless and Suzanne is a perfect host.

Everything about the stay was wonderful. Yep the scones were beautifully homemade as was the wonderful breakfast. We even enjoyed a ride to and from the local pub. Out of the park hospitality. Highly recommended if in the vicinity!

Signage is minimal and the driveway difficult to find. Make sure to use aer code, it was very helpful.

This was a delightful stay! Suzanne couldn't have been nicer. She wanted to share driving tips and plan out roads on maps she had. She made a marvelous, delicious breakfast for us and sent us on our way with tea and water. The room was spacious and the bathroom and dressing room wonderful to get ready in the morning.

We had a lovely stay at the forest view lodge! Everything was perfect - from the communication upfront, making our late check-in possible and super easy, to our lovely host and even fresh scones in the morning. It was just incredible and we would definitely come back!

It was perfect.

Amazing place. I wish we had more nights here. Suzanne, the owner, made it memorable, cozy, inviting! While we were out for dinner, we came back and found a fire going in the kitchen and sitting room. The morning breakfast was scrumptious - homemade scones, French pressed coffee, fruit and yogurt with choices of muesli, or similar toppings. She gave us recommendations for dinner and hikes in the beautiful Glendalogh National Park. We will be back!!

No doorbell and hopless phone reception so do use What's App to communicate your arrival.

Our hostess went above and beyond. We had car trouble that couldn't be fixed until the next day. She drove us into the local town for dinner and then came back to pick us up when done. The next day dropped us to our car and made sure all was well before leaving. The house itself is beautiful: gorgeous setting, big comfortable room with spotless facilities. Lovely big fruit scones for breakfast looking out over the amazing garden.

The room was comfortable and cosy. The host was very friendly and helpful. She hung up our wet things after a rainy walk and loaned me a spare coat to wear to dinner. The location is perfect - we saw lots of birds and wild foxes from our window. Breakfast scones were delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay.

There was only one thing we didn’t like, we had to leave!

There is no right word to describe our staying! The environment was stunning! The house was spotless! Everything was absolutely beautiful and amazing! The hostess is the nicest lady on earth! She prepared us the most amazing breakfasts, with homemade scones, and since we’re not able to rent a car, and taxis are difficult to find in that area, she predisposed to drives around, she was so nice to us! As I said there’s not right, or enough, words to describe how amazing our staying was! Regarding the room, it was beautiful, very we’ll decored, cozy and had all the essentials! Ohh, if you book the room with the extra large bed, believe me when I say, it’s extra extra large! The bed it’s very big and very very comfortable!

Wonderfully comfortable with all the facilities we needed including a very well equipped kitchen where we had excellent breakfasts and also cooked pizzas for dinner one evening too. It’s in a really lovely spot - very beautiful and peaceful, and Susanne could not have been more helpful.
