Initially, we had trouble regulating the temperature in our room, which was just a little too warm. Immediately, the hotel staff sent up a nice floor fan and showed us how to turn off the heat. So, A+ for staff helping us quickly resolve the issue.

Louise, at the main desk, was SUPER! It was a little tricky for us to find our way to the private parking lot behind the hotel, so she literally talked us through it on the phone! She was also so upbeat and enjoyable to talk with during our stay! The included breakfast was outstanding! What a great introduction to Irish cuisine!! The room was small, but not cramped, and very clean. The hotel is on the "Medieval Mile" and the perfect location to see castles, cathedrals, and the river. Dining and shopping were all close by and exceptional. Be sure to check out the Smithwick's Experience and learn the history of Ireland's oldest beer while learning how to pour the perfect pint! Also, don't miss Duggans Menswear, a 5th generation purveyor of fine men's furnishings. Lunch at the Marble Bar was delicious, too!

Pillows hard and uncomfortable. Room very hot, difficulty in adjusting radiator, and no air con.

Everything about this establishment is amazing! From the staff to the rooms to the food to the location - the service is also outstanding. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay over in Kilkenny.

The outlook from the bedroom window was awful. The room was too dark.

Everyone was so friendly. It was a joy to stay at your hotel. The restaurant meal was superb and the waiter was excellent. The breakfast staff and bar staff were great. Thank you to all your staff.

The occasional noise from the heating pipes as they heated up and cooled down….a slight annoyance but didn’t take anything away from a brilliant hotel stay.

Dinner was superb…dinner service was exceptional. Breakfast service was equally as good….served in trendy bar/cafe area on 1st morning and then restaurant on 2nd. Great choice on offer and ‘the Canadian ‘ as she called herself was so attentive and super helpful. I can’t recall a stay I’ve had where all of the staff we interacted with were so so welcoming and friendly.

Louise and staff were accommodating on every level. Above and beyond expectations. One of the cutest boutique hotels I have ever stayed. The location could not have been more perfect. Loved it.

Absolutely loved the Zuni the moment I walked in the door, I was with 3 work colleagues for the awards night in the lyrath hotel, I have to say the staff were amazing especially Louise who couldn't be any nicer to us, well done guys keep up the good work and we can't wait to come back to see yous again 😊

Our room was in a slightly awkward position - to get to it we had to go two steps down and then three steps up which was really awkward with a suitcase, I am slightly disabled and there was nothing to hold near these steps apart from the wall! When we got to the room we discovered there was no Wi-Fi coverage- a member of staff tried to sort this but it seemed to be a black spot so nothing could be done. Maybe the hotel was full - though it didn’t seem that busy but no one suggested that we move to a room that did get Wi-Fi which is very slightly disappointing. These two issues just stopped Zuni from being a perfect 10!

The property was so central - we didn’t need to use the car at all during our stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
