    Cleanness

Very good location, just in front of the light rail easy to move to the old city. Walkable to the main train station, and a few minutes to the Mahaneh Yehudah Market.

Found it ideally located thanks to the tram stop right next to the building. Mahane Yehuda around the corner, too.

Super Little Hotel - Great Staff!

The only criticism I have is that I upgraded my room to a 2 bed apartment a few weeks before I came and only got a bedroom with a kitchenette but still charged the price for a 2 bed. I should have checked and addressed it when I was still there but it didn’t occur to me until I’d left that I’d upgraded my accommodation, there was another door in my room but this was locked.

The room was clean, spacious with a large comfortable bed. The location was superb with a light railway stop just outside. The market, which was fabulous, just a minute away. Various restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. If you are expecting 5* luxury then look elsewhere, but for good quality central accommodation look no further. Accommodation in Israel is pretty expensive compared to many other parts of the world and I’ve stayed in some fabulous hotels for less. However, taking everything into account including the extremely helpful staff this is an excellent base. The small kitchenette was a Godsend during Shabbat when there was nowhere open to eat.

The plate placer is not clean. No elevator. Some smoked during our stay.

One of the staff is not that fluent in English but still will to help. Location is very good. It can be reached by light train, the station is just in front of the hotel. (So you can hear the train all day)Also near the train station. Machaneh Yehudah Market is right beside the hotel.

smell in the staircase was not the best

Ideal location to explore Jerusalem (right next to Mahane Yehuda market and the light rail station; very easy get to the Old City, Central Train Station, Yad Vashem by light rail; for car rental: Sixt branch close by). Pretty basic but fine rooms. Nice host who gave us a quick car ride to the rental car branch from where we continued our journey.

In general, there weren’t negative aspects of the property

The property location is good as it is close to one of the most important market of Jerusalem where you can find a lot of restaurants and bars. Moreover, it’s close also to the old town (20/25 min by walk or 10 min by tram which stop in front of the hotel)

No elevator! no parking! the parking lot at Agripas 88 is closed on Saturday. Be aware they don't lock your car in for 25 hours. they should add more basic equipment and materials to the kitchen. a stove can be nice. Salt, pepper, milk. oil. etc.

Machne Yehuda market is hectic. I think it is the best place to be in Jerusalem. The apartment (you shouldn't call it a hotel) is very basic but suits our needs.

The single beds were on wheels. So they were squeaky. It was very annoying. The kitchen had no hob or oven and was not equiped for cooking. Only a microwave and a water kettle.

The appartment had two rooms and a balcony. It was clean and quiet. AC in every room. The owners were very polite and helpful. Nice location next to food market, and next to the tram stop to the old Jerusalem.

No complaints, and if anything is missing such as towels or coffee they will attend to it quickly.

Excellent hotel near the Old City, and within walking distance from the station. Well located, clean and spacious. Good restaurants nearby. Staff are fantastic and made us feel very welcome. If you need anything nothing is too much trouble. Recommended.

    - Single beds were very small and bed bases were v creaky! - balcony furniture needs replacing as table warped and chairs look like they will break / crack fairly soon - hot plate in kitchen (under sink unit) totally useless. After trying to boil eggs for 3hrs we gave up!! Hotplate got hot but not hot enough to boil water! - A lift would be nice!

+ Excellent location. + Room large and double bed v comfortable. + Balcony very good size and great space to relax on. + Staff friendly + V clean and towels & toiletries refreshed daily (though didn't need the soap changed daily!)

It was almost impossible to cook in the kitchen, due to the lack of kitchen utensils!

It was a very nice and comfortable stay I had at Avital Hotel. I stayed here 9 days. I got a very nice and spacious flat, with bedroom, livingroom (with flat screen), kitchen, bathroom (with flat screen) and balcony. Nice and lively neigbourhood, few steps to the tram (public transport). The personal of the Hotel is very helpul, kind and respectful, specially Ashraf. I did not get the names of other two recepcionists, but all of them were very nice to me. I have beeen many times in Jerusalem at different hotels, but this one has been the best. Very good value for money!

The Wi-Fi existed but in reality wasn’t fast enough even to load a webpage. The blind on the window also didn’t work.

Very friendly staff, location is excellent, within walking distance of the Old City but surrounded by excellent restaurants which are also a bit cheaper than ones nearer the old city.
