How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The TV was a little small.
The facility was excellent we love the hot tub. And there was a mini fridge with free staff for us. The owner was very nice and gave us everything we needed.

The chalet is spacious, beautifully furnished, was very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. The porch is definitely a big plus.

although, overall all good, but since I was a business traveler, a small tall pub type table would be great. the other things, that were not associated with the property was, when outside, the smell of a cattle feedlot was overwhelming, and this was probably a mile away. I also purchased breakfast from Isabel, and there was a big communication problem, as she spoke mainly Hebrew and Portuguese. what I received was probably typical Israeli breakfast, but I would have liked to customize to my tastes, and that wasn’t happening. in hindsite, I should have passed on breakfast, as it cost 100 scheckles. oh well, love and learn. overall. a great stay.

Temporary road construction made finding the place challenging. This is a somewhat remote area so make sure you can call the host (I found out I could not, but the neighbor was very helpful.) Beyond the luxurious facilities, this is in Israeli occupied Syrian territory, and Israel's actions are not supported by the UN and many nations.
Jacuzzi x3! Also you are almost on a seaside cliff, from the way it felt. Very accommodating host, who gave a great bakery recommendation. Very much appreciated chocolate, wine, and coffee.

Some dust on the table and not enough light in the room.
The service of the owner was very good. The room itself has lot of space and was equipped with very nice hot tub and sauna. Wifi worked fine. The minibar had drinks free of charge ! And we got chocolate and wine in the arrival. Lots of free movies in VOD.....

We had a great stay and fully intend to come again. The facilities were great and the lady that the owner recommends for breakfast makes a very good one and brings it right to your door. Both my wife and I managed to relax and enjoy ourselves. Also, I was very happy to see that reality and pictures on Booking were the same (if you know other similar properties like this in Israel, you know that all too often pictures uploaded to websites are misleading).

The only "problem" was that there was nothing to warm food(like a microwave) and the small fridge wasn't really able to keep our food cold.
Everything was amazing. The place was clean and way better looking than the pictures. The jacuzzi was quite large and comfortable. The bed was also big the sturdy, the AC was brand new and the balcony was also nice. A great experience after all.

The food situation in the area is tricky. There are not many restaurants in this area, and the good ones are all booked all the time. Most of the time to go and grab something to eat would mean 30-40 mins of drive. Though - it’s really nice to be this close to the Kinneret (sea of Galilee).
The room was very nice. Sauna is nice, hot tub is great. Great atmosphere, and everything was well kept.

No soap or hand towel in the bathroom. Dusty. Tiny fridge. Used kitchen sponge. No kitchen rag to wipe sides. Disgusting towel mats for tiny shower.Very small salon table. Nowhere to eat comfortably.
Comfortable bed. Nice jacuzzi.
