Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelTwo things need to be considered by the nice welcoming owners. First is the sheard toilets/showers. They must to be more clean and with a higher quality! The second thing related to the first and is the price. In Israel as in Israel, the prices are too expansive for everything, and in that case also for glamping! I really think that a lower price would still be profitable for the owners and will make more sense for what you get. The reasons it's related to the first thing is because, if you already charge 600 shekels for a Van or 200 shekels for open a tent, at least make sure all the facilities around are perfect
The place is truly amazing! So special, peaceful, beautifully and relaxing. The bar/restaurant is great with amazing atmosphere and good food

United StatesThe camping is on concrete - never fun - with few ways to tie down a tent, which is necessary because of the wind that came up every evening I was there.
The location is great, and the open air cafe is friendly and provides a cool spot to hang out whenever you like. The bathroom and shower are clean and work well.

SwitzerlandGood to know: The Ein Gedi Beach is closed until further notice due to a landslide.
Ein Gedi is literally an oasis and the view of the Dead Sea and the Jordanian mountains from the Camp Lodge is breathtaking. We met great people here. Lots of positive energy!

IsraelBare minimum furniture and accessories, there are only beds in the rooms. The bathrooms and showers could be a bit more organized and functional.
The rooms/tents were clean and the air conditioning was excellent.

BrazilI had to pay extra for bed sheets which I think is the minimum that should be included in the price and it was not mentioned before, so it's a surprise when you get there and has to pay almost 5 euros extra and this is not informed anywhere since in theory you can use yours. And some people don't even pay for it so I felt that it could be not so hygienic.i believe it would be better to have a fixed price with this included and give to everyone to avoid misunderstandings and the possibility to not use it!
Everything about this place is amazing! Food was really good, tents had ac, staff was great, located in a very beautiful area with botanical garden all around and the view is surreal! You can even grill there (I saw people doing it) so it can be really fun with a group of friends or family! One of the best experiences in my life!

GermanyNo shade for parking, so in summer you can literally not touch the steering wheel when not covered. You have to bring your own sheets or borrow for a fee of ILS 20.
The tents and lounge area are quite comfortable even in the blazing heat of summer due to AC and fans with water dispersers, respectively. Prices at the lounge were okay. There are fridges and grills, so you can also bring your own food.

United StatesIt’s hot! But that’s not the lodges fault. Some elements were a little bit run down but nothing terrible and kind of to be expected. (Like linens that are clean but has small rips and stains, like that.)
The AC was awesome for a trip in June. The facilities were clean and the common areas were fun (hostel-like.) I felt like the tents were clean and my linens were newly washed. And just the whole atmosphere is adorable. We ate here and it was a small selection but yummy! (Side note: Ein Gedi park is amazing but know that the beach has been closed down due to sinkholes)

United StatesWifi was weak everywhere, other than the main restaurant area. Ants were an irritant in the tent, got bitten all night long, but realize that was out of control of the facility. Expensive for tent camping. Would be nice if sheets and towels were complementary when spending US$180 per night.
Rustic yet clean and well kept facilities. Nice and necessary to have A/C in the tents. Great vibe.

IsraelMosquitos!! It was unbearable. Open your tent for a second and they fly in. At the bar, biting through my leggings. Only 3 showers which made for quite the waiting time for a shower. Also there are 2 levels for tents, and the lower level was not lit up at all and very dark once the sun set. I def would have come back if it wasn't for the mosquitos- not sure if that's specifically a passover time thing or year yound.
Real glamping. Great lovely atmosphere and clean and spacious place to put up the tent. Enough picnic benches for everyone and all kinds of places to relax. Even bathroom area was beautiful.
