How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

no slippers available in the room, bathrobes are old and worn. kids are not allowed to the spa. our 11 years old son is used to visit spas and have massages but there he couldn’t come in.

we took a sea view, keep in mind that a new hotel is being built in the future - in this case there will be noise and a view of the construction site.

The reception at the spa was cold and unfriendly. The massage therapists were good though.
The meal buffet was quite good. The pool was nice. The rooms were comfortable. Most staff were obliging.

Great hotel by the dead sea. Beds could be more comfortable to sleep in. Check in procedure needs to be improved. It takes too much time. Breakfast dinner top notch. Overall great experience.

Fantastic pool with cascading water. Beautiful view from room over the pool and Dead Sea. Great location by the sea. The Chef at the Ranch Restaurant was wonderful, he catered for our son’s allergies and the food was great.

super tasty and wide variety of food (breakfast and dinner) - don't miss it! No American good, only local healthy fresh stuff what for me was very important. In the room you will find flip flops and bathrobe for spa/indoor swimming pool.

The constant monotonous music piped throughout the hotel is EXTREMELY annoying. It even gave me a headache

That it wasn’t adjacent to the sea. it’s across the road and there is currently a construction site in progress.
Everything was excellent! the food was amazing, loved the facilities, the decor and everything was very clean and classy. I also appreciated the little extras like drinks and cookies upon arrival. The food was AMAZING, especially the dinner.

Wonderful hotel at the Dead Sea. Upscale in every way. Staff very helpful was upgraded to a nice suite on top floor with a great view of the sea and men's of Jordan (Moab). You need to book half board in Ein Bokek as no restaurants are available outside of hotels. The grounds are beautiful, the pool was excellent and the food was fantastic. You can't checkin on shabbat until about 3 to 4 pm.

parking was limited, staff were not proactive- no help with bags on arrival, no explanation re buffet procedures in restaurant- pointed to a table then left for 15mins - had to find someone who spoke English to understand the requirements to order and pay for wine at a desk in the restaurant, etc

They are renovating the pool. It is true that one poos was still available, but it is not isolated from the other one which was being renovated. Thus, one was supposed to stay in the pool while workers were renovating the pool beside. Moreover, they are builing new facilities on the beach. This will be great inthe future, but it did jeopardise the vew we expected to have from the room. Ih we had been warned that the hotel was under renovation, we would not have stayed there
It is a very good hotel, in an excellent location. Due to the big number of guests, we hesitated having dinner in the restaurant, which offers a buffet. However, since it was late for us, we decided to stay inthe hotel. What a great surprise! The food was excellent. In spite of the buffet, several dishes were individually prepared on a chef style. Also the breadfast was excellent
