Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Austriawe just noticed that the private plunge pool and the door were not in such a good shape any more Than the year before. a Little redo would help. we stayed at cabin Sara.
This was already the second time we stayed at desert days. And it’s the perfect Place to umwind and be yourself again. breakfast was very good as always. cabin was clean and comfy.

GermanyThe clay oven next to the door had a really bad smell, as if it was made from a different kind of clay to the rest. I’m not sure if this was normal or if it had been treated with something. We left door and window open all night to dissipate the smell, which made for a nice breeze :-) The site on Booking says dinner and breakfast, but after we booked last minute we received the information that food has to be booked a few days in advance. This information should be visible before booking, as it is not unimportant! To be fair, the staff managed to make breakfast possible, which was great, so we took care of dinner ourselves:-)
Really nice clay cabin with air con and a proper bathroom. Everything worked perfectly, we had a “bath” outside which was really nice. The pool was great and refreshing, and breakfast was well worthwhile. The employees were laidback, helpful and friendly.

IsraelWhatever trip will bring you to Tsukim, you will find the perfect scenery for it. While the flames of your fire are singing songs in the night and the goddess Diana is flying by with shining hair, with the breakfast in her club car. You will remember it with softness, in beige, brown and red as your desert days ... it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Canadawe wished we had been able to order breakfast more last minute instead of 24+ hours in advance because we didn’t know about it but felt like breakfast would have been really nice there! it also would have been cool to have a high chair to feed our baby in but we survived without!
we liked everything. our favourite thing we’ve ever done in Israel. surprisingly wasn’t as hot as we expected (even in august), the toilet situation was sooo much better than expected. they were accommodating about letting us use the pool after closing. we only saw one spider (thank gd cuz we are terrified of them!!) it was private and sooo romantic! will try to come back every time we’re in israel and hopefully even make it a tradition with our kids :)

IsraelShower gutter wasn't in its best...
It is very quiet place for people who love this. But maximum comfort: conditioner, cleanness, pure water, fully equipped kitchen. I liked that vehicles stay outside the complex.

IsraelThe shower area, associated to the tent, can be slightly larger, so there will be room to place clothes and toiletries. There was a sandstorm (late April) on the day of check-out. It was a bit challenging to stay in the tent at this time, but it's part of the desert experience. There is nothing to do about it, other than going to the pool.
We stayed in the Bedouin tent. It was a very nice experience. There is a shower and toilet that belong only to the tent dwellers. They are not beside the tent but a very short walk from it. To our surprise there is an air conditioner in the tent. It had a hard time dealing with the heat wave at noon, but we knew in advance that these would be the conditions. The cozy pool is a good place to escape to. The staff is great. Available quickly on the phone and very nice when you meet them. Breakfast is good and rich. It was nice to eat it in the central khan.

Francethe place is expending but at the same time is deteriorating.. you are paying a crazy amount of money and everything is broken, dirty and not comfortable. it starting to lose its charme. after 10 there we won’t come back that’s it. the staff wasn’t nice or helpful as it use to be. the staff didn’t even inform us that now you need to order a breakfast 1 day before so we ended up with no food on Saturday morning, called him but he didn’t care and didn’t even call us back with a solution and played like he didn’t understand… full of flies, impossible to eat outside and all the ventilator of the zimmer were broken so we couldn’t stay outside without. their famous bench on the top of the hill is falling apart, with price everybody pay they cannot even restore it or at least put a mattress on it like it was before .. bref it was so disappointing, our small room next to the parking with the worst outdoor area of the place for this price was outrageous not mentioning the dog that was attacking us each time we were outside so the kids couldn’t feel free playing there… so sad to see the place like this. definitely don’t worst the money anymore.
we love this place because we are going there for 10 years and have many memories with kids. the area is really beautiful.

United StatesThe bugs in the room.
All of the houses were spaced out which made the stay feel private. The on-site market had more than you could ever need. I also loved the breakfast and having our own kitchen.
