Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelWhen we arrived, checked-in, and were on our way to the room, hotel manager (Ronen) saw us with bicycle and upgraded us to a suite. Ronen was very serviceable and kind, made our short stay very enjoyable. Definitely recommending.

IsraelI really love breakfasts in Israel. The breakfast had a a lot of options but it was not arranged logically. For instance, I missed granola for my yoghurt since the yoghurt was at one end of the line, the fruit on another line and the cereals in a totally different place, and the granola in a fourth place. There wasn’t anyone who made fresh eggs. The eggs which were in the warmer were dried up and unappetizing.
It was clean, situated in a good spot. There was limited parking but the staff was very helpful fitting us in. They had chocolate, coffee and water for us in the room and a small refrigerator which worked very well!

IsraelUnfortunately the room next to me was occupied by a teenager (alone in the room with his parents on another floor) and he decided to have a party on Friday night, which included his loud vomiting in the bathroom at 2am. Unfortunately the ceiling outside my bathroom was open that led right to his bathroom and I was woken up from the party and the vomiting. As I was on the 11th floor and keep shabbat, I did not have a way to call the front desk and at midnight and 2am, I was definitely not willing to go down 11 flights of stairs.
The staff in the hotel were amazing. Each one of them was friendly and always with a smile on their face. The hotel was clean and the room was fine based on my needs. The hotel was housing families from the North for the past several months and it was clear that the families and the staff felt like family to one another. It was wonderful to see the warmth between the staff and the families. Honestly I can't say enough good things about the staff. From the front desk to the dining room, to the cleaning staff, they were all amazing! The trip was also very humbling. Sitting with the evacuated families and listening to their stories made me realize how lucky I am to live in an area in Israel which is barely affected by the war on our two fronts. These families are homeless yet continue to get up, go to work , go to school and are friendly and outgoing. As a Social Worker who has worked with survivors from the South and with families who had loved ones killed or injured, it opened my eyes to those who have been displaced from the North. I came for a weekend to rest, relax and clear my mind from all that I have seen and heard these past few months, and the families from the North immediately "adopted" me to eat Shabbat meals with them and their ongoing strength gave me the strength. The families along with the amazing staff made my stay a great one!

We enjoyed our stay very much at this hotel. We had an unexpected upgrade of our rooms. So we had a wonderful view of the Galilee Sea. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the place and it was really nice. It’s the perfect place to stay if you visit Tiberias. Highly recommended.

United KingdomFor us as tourists, Shabbat is always made more complicated by the elevator that stops on every floor, but this is not something exclusive to the hotel. I loved the service and reception. They even upgraded us for free and put us in a better location.
I loved the hotel, I had already stayed with groups in other hotels, but this time the service, cleanliness, food was incredible, I highly recommend it and I will be back in 2 weeks with another group. Exceptional

IsraelWe had many problems with the card from the hotel, but the staff and especially the manager triedtheir best and compensated us for the inconvenience. Also, the parking lot was small and we didn't always have a space close to the hotel. Third, the shower glass shield is too short, so the water wet the whole bathroom floor, unfortunately.
First, the decoration inside the spacious rooms was beautiful. Second, the breakfast was delicious and rich. Third, our kids enjoyed the pool a lot.

FranceThe staff was neither friendly nor smiley . The pool closed at 6pm, it was not possible to get a drink at the bar after 5.30pm.. we were happy to visit Tibériade , but we left the hotel with a mixed feeling …we had the impression that it was a hotel for touring companies , but if you are coming on your own , you were not really considered . A smile and a thank you for your visit could have been nice !!!!
We have been upgraded as our key was not working. We were granted free breakfast . We were called every night to check if all was fine .

He upgraded our room for free and kindly included us on the breakfast list. I would also like to mention Amar, who works in the restaurant and made sure we got the best service possible. Thank you!

United StatesWe should have requested a hotel room with a view of the Sea of Galilee. The view from the hotel is gourgous! We didn't realize how gracious our hosts would be! But hey, there's always next time. :)
What a blast! We really enjoyed our stay at Prima Galil in Teveria! We came on the hottest day of the year (104 degrees!) so we spent much of the vacation simply chilling in the Hotel room, taking advantage of the amenities, exploring the expansive lobbies, the refreshing pool (complete with friendly lifeguard!), and finally catching that bus to the Kineret for a late afternoon dip (breathtakingly beautiful!). We suggest requsting a window to the Kinerret, as the management is very friendly and really takes your input seriously, they absolutely want you to enjoy your stay, trust us! (This is actually the first time we got all our requests taken seriously at a hotel, with a large cot for our toddler, and a brand new crib for our one-year-old, under its own hanging lamp (no joke)! We even got a VIP call from management to see how we were enjoying our stay, they were just over-the-top-nice! Such pretty rooms. Too many lighting options to name. Modern decor. Showers were especially nice. An exotic vibe, with polished tree-stump night tables and low-hanging hammered-metal fixtures for the beds (and baby's crib!). Additional movable spot-lights to make it even more fun. And there was a closetlike shelf with a giant LED panel that was so cool that it actually invited us to hold a child photoshoot! We walked around Teveria, and took a transporation to the seperate beach, (a 45 minute walk,) so that the whole family could swim simultaneously (as per our religious inclination, it really is seperate!). Really very heimish crowd there. All of us had a blast. (Remember, not a beach with sand, but with tiny rocks, so you might want water shoes if you'll be staying in the shallow). Across the street from beach was Rabi Meir Baal Hanes's Kever. Very uplifting davening experience there! Appreciated a Bdatz Pizza store near the hotel open till 11:00 pm! Hotel had such nice service. Really felt cared about. Greatly exceeded our expectations! Thank you Prima Galil!
