I’m sorry to say that the first suite we were given looked like it had not been cleaned or vacuumed …. The furniture was also very grubby. The second suite was slightly cleaner . The hotel needs a total face lift and some powerful new vacuums…

The hotel is very old and tired. Elevator wasnt working, the room wasn’t cleaned well. No face towels, very slow service. Often Russian speaking staff who didn’t understand English.

Coffee was good but none was available on the sabbath. We should perhaps have known that. It should be made apparent to international guests

We were not expecting the non international nature of this hotel whose photos on booking.com suggested something different. Having said that everyone was very friendly and did their best to look after us.

Lifts were slow but not a priblem

Unfortunately, because my Mum required a walk in shower, the room was rather dated. Worse, however, was that the carpet was filthy and we had to get in cleaned twice before it was acceptable. The breakfast could have been much better but was reasonable. For what we paid, it was not the best value but choice in the area is limited.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast reasonable, the swimming pool area very good and the staff very personable.

Location, family atmosphere - a real home form home. I loved the antique furniture in the lobby and the feeling of old world elegance. My room was exceptionally quiet as well.

The first room we received on the 11th floor was carpeted and reeked of smoke. The balcony had some boards bolted on to the cement in an unprofessional manner. I would have rated the hotel 1-2 stars based on that room. I couldn't breath in that room, so they moved me to the 4th floor. a room with a wooden floor, no smell of smoke and a view of the ocean (which is what we originally ordered). I was shocked that they offer that room to any guests.

They were very accommodating when we had a problem with the initial room. The breakfast was nice. Although no omelet station, you can ask staff for an omelet from the kitchen. They sometimes had juice and cookies out in the lobby. The location is amazing, and the pool is very clean. within walking distance of town. beautiful small almost-secluded beach (called Onot beach) near hotel.

Stayed in a new room which was a good size with great views and decor. Next to the beach and a short walk from town. Malvina at reception made our stay! She always has a big smile and nothing is too much for her.

Air conditioning in room was rather weak, took full four days to reach coolest. Hot food at breakfast not very hot Waiters spoke little English or Hebrew and were not helpful...coffee machine ingredients neede changing one day and they had no idea what to do!

Room was better tthan expected. Furnishings were quite new .Bed comfortable and bathroom OK. Room was very big. Pool area was clean and sunloungers looked new. Hotel wasn't too busy so nice and quiet. Reception staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety, cakes were delicious. Location good for beach, town centre.

View from room was excellent as we had a junior suite. Suite had been modernised apart from the bathroom which let it down slightly.

The towels were thin and skimpy, the electric socket didn't work in the bathroom, there was no milk for coffee in the room and no spoons to stir with. Some real artwork would have been more in line with the atmosphere instead of fake mass-produced prints. The porch railing on the 16th floor was so low, it was downright scary....

I liked the antique decor, quite different from the modern look you see in most hotels today. The bed was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent.
