*If you are looking for a luxurious stay DKK is your best choice. 1. The rooms are super clean with great facilities and constant follow-up for any request you ask for. An example, i asked for a hair dryer and they provided it in less than 3 minutes. 2. ⁠The lobby and food area was super elegant. Hot water and coffee was available 24/7. 3. ⁠The breakfast was really satisfied. It was delicious and we enjoyed the different varieties they serve. 4. ⁠Concerning the staff (especially Mr. Sadr eddine and Ali tahseen). They were very helpful, polite, and elegant. They offered us a free dinner and helped in organizing our trip to different sites. In addition, we booked an extra night so they gave us a discount. Also, they helped us in booking our taxi to the airport with an affordable price. 5. ⁠The hotel is near the holy shrines (3 minutes walk) and in a calm area. * of course DKK is my only choice for a next stay.

The hotel is in the outer security zone of the Imam Husayn shrine and I therefore wasn't able to get dropped off at the hotel by my taxi, but on the other hand it is extremely close to the shrine and so it is very convenient to visit.

I was treated very well and given a free room upgrade and lunch (which was excellent, by the way).Thank you to Mr Sadr Aldein for all your kindness and assistance in helping me with information on day trips from Karbala and onwards travel.

Great hotel. We had an excellent experience. The hotel is ideally located close walking distances to religious sites. Room and meals are of a high standard. Staff are very nice and helpful. Thank you to the reception team members for a great customer service in particular a special thank you to Mr Sadr Hussain who was very welcoming, kind, helpful, professional and friendly. Location was the best thing for me Maybe a 6 min walk to the shrine of Syed Abbas the brother of I Hussain as Clean and complimentary tea coffee on every floor The staff were fantastic in particular the English speaking young man at reception Mohammed Raza top man kept in touch before I arrived polite professional helped me when ever I needed Breakfast was a full menu continental and hot with chef’s available for individual choices of egg

The Dur Kahmiya Palace Hotel is location was perfect because It's near Holy Shrine of Imam Hossain and AL -Harith mall and Access for bus was easy. we enjoyed our stay. would happily rebook this hotel again. The rooms had the necessary equipment and nicely designed room. Breakfast and other food was excellent and delicious. Hot bread was for breakfast and other meals.

My second time at this hotel, brilliant location to Mazher Imam Hussain (10min walk) All Staff were helpful. Food was great too, good choice of buffet for lunch and dinner in main restaurant (extra fee pp, not too expensive which was good) Check in was straightforward and check out too as we had to pay at hotel (paid in dollars) before we left The Wi-Fi was not that great this time, but we had Iraqi sims with plenty of data for phones, laptops/iPads would struggle. Other then that, I will be coming here again next time I visit Karbala InshaAllah 👍

My family and I stayed on Oct 14, 2023 Very pleasant place to stay while visiting all the holy shrines nearby (7min walk to Imam Hussein's shrine). The rooms are very clean and so is the washroom. The hallways are nice and tidy. All the workers there are very kind and polite. Breakfast is served for free and the meals are fresh and tasty. They have a wide variety of western and Iraqi cuisine, so there are no shortcomings for anyone when it comes to having a hearty breakfast. Sadr aldein Hussein (receptionist) ensured my family and I were comfortable both during check in and checkout. He's very professional and proficient with his mannerism and work. He also is fluent in English, which is a huge bonus point as my family do not speak Arabic that well. Overall very excellent hotel and well worth the money to stay.

The fridge is noisy. You can turn it off but it also means you cannot use it.

Clean and comfortable bed. Location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. Sadr Aldein at the reception welcomed all my questions and arranged a taxi for me whenever I needed one.
