We had a bedroom at the front of the hotel and we didn't sleep till 3am due to the weekend partying and shouting outside. The room was also really hot/stuffy as no air conditioning. Staff did eventually give us a fan which helped.

It was a bit noisy being in the center of town. Only an issue if you kept the windows open.

Great location near restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to the Old Harbor. Hotel beds were super comfortable, shower pressure was terrific. Would definitely stay again. Small thing - Just wish they had firmer pillows.

Friday night was noisy with a nightclub and a wedding. the manager moved us to a quiet penthouse suite and it was lovely and quiet

The only drawback is probably outside of the hotel's control. Our room backed onto the building beside the hotel where on Saturday night there was a rave/dance night. The noise made it impossible to rest until the function ended.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Having an option for breakfast was good and there was a small but good continental selection. We used the sauna area, small but enjoyable. The location of the hotel is absolutely ideal for a stay in Reykjavik. Every place we needed to access was within walking distance.

Check-in was quick and simple. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great location and easy to get around the city with local restaurants close by as well as the bus stop for excursions right outside.

the cleaning service was a bit off... cleaning products were left in our room twice. the crew didnt get to our room until late in the day to clean... after 3 pm... but all in all these were not issues with us...

breakfast was very nice....welcoming and interesting room for breakfast. the lounge/living room is also very welcoming and location is amazing...a cute hotel

we didnt try the breakfast after reading the reviews + the price of it. it was a shame that we werent told that the spa/sauna/hot tub were not open (for renovation). we might have chosen another hotel

lovely hotel in the center of R with very comfortable room (to be fair we got upgraded to a junior suite for my husband's birthday which was a nice gesture), beds are very comfortable and view of the Harpa amazing. it was pretty quiet (Covid related?)

The noise from the parties in the street went on all night every night. the noise from above rooms were very loud and did keep you awake as well as the noise from the parties in the neighbourhood.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. The room was very clean and well laid out. The building is great.

I stayed with a friend and the bathroom had no door, not ideal, and I would imagine even for couples. The room was rather small with no sitting room aside for a desk chair. We also booked this hotel for the spa, which was under construction so we couldn’t use the main feature we wanted. This all coupled with the next to dead lounge/bar meant we spent almost no time there, given that, we could’ve booked a cheaper option to just crash in. I’d definitely double check the amenities you are interested in are truly available.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. You really felt like you could ask them for and about anything. We rented a car and drove in, they offer parking but we honestly found street parking very easily. Location is incredible, and the hotel has a cozy lounge, but if you are looking for liveliness it’s not there, it’s usually empty.

Right next to a nightclub. If you're planning on sleeping before 3am, don't stay here. Also, thr sauna/steam room doesn't work. it's been broken for about a year and they aren't doing anything to fix it. there are no kettles or free tea in the room. everything is at a cost.. including breakfast. i

The staff failed to inform us that the spa was undergoing renovations, something that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process either. Coffee/tea making facilities for your room came at an extra cost, something that in my opinion should always be included at this type of hotel. Breakfast spread was very sparse, and with no hot options.

Reception staff had to manage the front desk and bar. I sat the breakfast for over 40 mins waiting for service. The service was very poor as the bartender did not even acknowledge us for almost an hour. ( An older gentleman maybe in his 60s). The receptionist at the front desk came to serve us later. There was no room service to clean our room for 2 days. Ac was not working properly - our room was extremely hot even though we had the ac on high The room do not have proper black out curtains to cater to international guests. It was super bright and we couldn’t sleep. The refrigerator would not cool the beverages. All the beverages were hot. Please for god sakes we are in Iceland and would expect a cold beverage from the mini refrigerator. For 600 a night this hotel is not worth the price. I would recommend staying at Tower Suites where you have luxury service. Hotel doesn’t cater to international guests - if you need a meal you have to a smelly bar across the street. The receptionist recommend the restaurant- when we went to the restaurant the lamb shank we order came out in 5 mins, the top of it was warm and the inside was cold and stale. This hotel sucks. Please do not stay here and pay 600 a night it’s a rip off
