When closing the door of the room, mingle the handle to the top to be sure the room is properly locked. We found once our room open, thankfully we went only to the car and nothing disappeared, but since then we were extra cautious.

Great location, 1 supermarket in a walking distance (3m) and 2 supermarkets (2mins by car) on each side. Walking distance to the restaurants. There is no reception, you will be given a code before your stay. The room was spacious and clean, well equipped (kettle, small fridge), bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was also big, clean and equipped (towels, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, toilet paper). There is a restaurant on the ground floor, but it's more expensive than restaurants in the center. Parking is right in front of the hotel.

Check-in was troublesome, and we had to request several new door codes before we finally got one to work. The apartment is not well stocked, with basics missing from the kitchen (baking pan, sponges, paper towels) and laundry room (detergent, drying rack).

Bella Apartments is very conveniently located within Selfoss, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was very spacious and feels very clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull-out couch. We really appreciated the blackout curtains, as we visited during summer, and the heated floors, as it was rather chilly outside.

At night, we were too warm and when we opened the windows, they banged in the wind. The kitchen was missing several things: it didn’t have an induction plate to use the induction stove, a spatula or regular coffee maker. The Nespresso machine was nice, but the pods jammed. A regular coffee machine would have been helpful.

The unit had a perfect location, it was beautifully decorated/furnished, nicely appointed, spotlessly clean, with blackout curtains and the beds were very comfortable. Check-in was easy with the self check process. Instructions were communicated beautifully.

Distinct smell of drains in the bathroom meant the window had to be open the whole time, which can be pretty cold in Iceland. The code we were given for the front door didn't work, but after calling the number on the phone number posted on the front door we were provided with a working code straight away.

Second time staying here. Excellent apartment with lots of space, great views and comfortable. Being in the middle of Selfoss is a perfect location. You are right next door to a very good bakery, the is a supermarket across the street and there are a numerous excellent restaurants very close by.

The room was little bit cold I couldn’t change the temperature since there was no thermostat. Worst thing was that the apartment picture were totally misleading. The room is more than fine, especially for the price, but they’re totally different from what is shown.

The checkin process was NOT good. The code emailed to us in advance didn't work, requiring us to stand outside in the cold to call the help desk. Once inside the lobby, the code given for our room didn't work, requiring another extensive phone conversation. After a long day of travel, this should NOT happen. The code emailed in advance should be checked and instructions clear. Also, it shouldn't be presumed that everyone has phone access. There should be another way to receive help (perhaps an emergency phone installed). Also, the high tech appliances need simple instructions posted on how to use.

There was a really awful smell of drains which hits you as soon as you enter (not the usual sulphur smell from the water) and it is particularly bad in the bathroom. We had to leave a window open the whole time as it was so strong. Shame as the apartment is otherwise really good so hopefully it can be fixed.

The floor isn't very clean I saw some dust on the ground. If guests decide to stay here, highly recommend to prepare enough amenity with you. They don't provide toiletries, garbage bags, laundry detergent.... They provide half roll of toilet paper which is not enough for three of us staying two days.

Nice Location. Not far to get ourist attractions. The kitchen is very big and we enjoy the time cooking ourselves. We firstly failed to enter the hotel due to the problem of the system, but the staff quickly help to solve problems.

Check in was not super smooth. It looked at the time that we were not the only ones having a bit of an issue. The check codes were not sent to me until after our reservation. There were staff available on the phone.

Good location and really close to a lovely bakery. We highly recommend the bakery that’s about 20 steps away. The on-site restaurant is also fantastic.

Nice room on the main street in Selfoss, which was ideally placed for our first night in Iceland having arrived late afternoon and not wanting too far to drive on the first day. Plenty of places to eat nearby which is the other main reason why we chose Selfoss.
