There isn't much to do around, but for us not a problem as this was just a stop over and we only stayed 1 night.

Big living area, a terrace, and there was a sauna in the cottage! Very nice acocmmodation overall :)

DO NOT STAY HERE. We arrived at check in time with no one to assist us for over 1 hour. We were forced to stay elsewhere and they are refusing to refund our stay. Terrible business.

There's not much I can honestly say I disliked. It was a little bit confusing to check in because we had to call, but we figured it out pretty quickly so it wasn't a big deal.

Versatile cabins with plenty of sleeping spaces and surprisingly functional kitchens. Our group appreciated the hot tub and nice spacing between cabins. We ventured out to Hrutey Island- definitely a must-see.

Oh dear. The cabin didn't lock - the lock was broken. The pillows (not all of them) were just foam chips. The blinds didn't close properly, some were hanging off the wall. The shower was awful - it leaked everywhere. The mattresses are just foam blocks. The 2nd bedroom didn't have blinds at all so in an Iceland summer of 24 hour light you are sleeping in a light room

The water in the area really stinks of sulfur so be sure you bring drinking water. No bedside lamp in the bedroom. Instructions for the tub were a little vague. The bathroom wall is a mess of pipes and valves so I have attached a picture showing which one you turn on to fill the tub -pointed to by the Blue arrow, and the adjustment for the water temperature going out to the tub - the red arrow.

Nice cabin with awesome views of the river. The hot tub setup is odd and requires a bit of work but was good when it finally filled. Nice kitchen and living room space.

Everything! Our host was fabulous, we had been ruffing it for 3 weeks. It was time for us to have some nicer amenities.. we had booked shared bathroom etc. We asked for more privacy, our host moved Heaven and earth to accommodate us. I was so happy I hugged a guy I had never met before. Beyond his helpfulness the place was wonderful, clean, comfortable, friendly, polite etc. The maid was outstanding! This place is great for campers, kids, and us old folks!

Beautiful cottages and staff were very helpful. They did our laundry and delivered in a couple of hours. Very close to the ring road and the play area with huge trampoline. My kids enjoyed the play ground and trampoline.

Our room was not cleaned before our arrival. The bed was a mess, there were dirty towels in the bathroom, and the toilet was not cleaned after the previous tenants used it. We were then moved to another cabin which did not have Internet. When we called the manager to ask for access to our original cabin so we could plan the next day of our vacation we were told we could come to the office in the morning.

it was located next to a river so the sound of water was soothing, which was needed after our check-in experience.

The accommodation was a complete let down. The place was dirty, and not what was expected. When it was advertised as having a hot tub I expected a hot tub however it was an outside bath which we had to fill however there was no instructions on how to do so. In the bathroom was exposed pipe work which we worked out powered the hot tub however it was very dangerous as there was values which could be turned and all sorts so if children were in there or you hit it accidentally when getting the toilet roll which was in the middle of the pipe work. The BBQ was very rusty and unusable. The kitchen/living room area was unclean and the TV and hobs didn't work so in-turn was unusable.

Beautiful view, beautiful, spacious house, we loved the hot tub and the BBQ on the terrace and there were northern lights almost every evening! The location is perfect, very much in the nature, with its wild and gorgeous river, but still close to the grocery store, the swimming pool and a nice restaurant. We also loved the bird island next to the cottages. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back often!

It was a bit rainy.

Beautiful location on a fantastic river with all kinds of rapids. Impressive. If I was fishing it would be perfect!
