Of the 11 properties we stayed at, this was one of my favorites. The room is extremely clean and nicely furnished in a scandinavian style. The room included a small kitchenette that was nicely furnished to make a simple meal. The hosts were very helpful. I would definitely stay again at this property.

This Guesthouse is amazing! We had a great time there. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The room offers plenty of space. We even saw the northern lights!

I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful and comfortable and super clean room with fabulous, kind host. Loved looking out the window and seeing our horse neighbors. Lovely little chocolate lab on property. Everything was just perfect and in a great central location to visit Husavik, Dettifoss, Godafoss and Hverir/Myvatyn. Will definitely visit again!! Thank you

The location for this little house is great, you are involved by the nature around you and no city noises. The communication with the hosts was easy and quick. The house has enough amenities for a short stay and the hosts left two fresh eggs on the fridge for us to use, which was a lovely gesture. Definitely would repeat it. :)

Out of the 15 accommodations we have stayed in thus far on our trip this was our favorite. It was easy to find and check-in was smooth. The setting was beautiful and the place was very comfortable. Other reviews noted there was no microwave or colander and now there are both. The pots and pans were very good quality and they even had basic spices, oil, and other nice touches. The host was kind enough to leave 2 eggs in the refrigerator and they were delicious! There were lots of electrical outlets and we were able to park right next to the room. We would definitely stay here again.

This is more so a studio apartment than a guesthouse. Easy check-in with a keybox. The apartment is spacious and modern, it seemed to have been renovated a bit, because it looked more modern than we remembered from the pictures. We found 2 fresh eggs in the kitchen, unfortunately no oil to fry them but we ended up having them soft-boiled for breakfast :-) Salt, coffee, etc. were also available. Everything very clean and comfortable. We used this place as our home base for 3 nights, from where we explored Husavik and the Myvatn area.

Just a hint for other guests.The accidental community, the three rooms build, can easily annoy each other by making a lot of noise ( banging doors and windows, moving chairs without lifting them), that travels easily through the building just by design and material .I had the "joy" for one morning, when an older couple seemed to take their room apart from 7 am till their checkout at 9....... Other than that, see below.

The room was quite spacy, good mattresses, fully equipped kitchen, big shower and a nice reading chair.Nice treats appeared in the fridge like fresh eggs or non-sulfur drinking water. Very appreciated. The place was perfectly situated between Myvatn and Husavik or even Asbyrgi. Quiet and serene ( but see above) with birds, sheep and horses around. Lovely.

The place was super nice and comfortable. It is like a small apartment just for yourself but not too small that you feel overwhelmed, it is indeed quite big. The owners left some eggs from their farm for us to have in the morning and there was everything you could need in the kitchen (even coffee, oil, sugar and tea) and bathroom.
