The price is irrelevant to the simple place; we had a little room without a shower inside and paid a price that was higher than any hotel that we booked that was with shower and breakfast.

Location, service.

It is a guesthouse in the countryside and one doesn't expect much of it, but it was a bit isolated and far from everything. A good station on the road to more interesting places in Iceland.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional bed and breakfast, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail in both the common areas and the guest rooms is impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One of the standout moments of my visit was the host's extraordinary kindness. I accidentally left my jacket behind, and without hesitation, she sent it to me at no charge. This level of service and care is truly rare and greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a cozy, clean, and welcoming place to stay with a host who goes above and beyond, look no further. This bed and breakfast is a true gem, and I can't wait to return!

Very nice stay. Of course, after a day of horrible weather, anywhere warm and dry would have been welcome. This house definitely exceeded that. Comfy beds. Great kitchen. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more all available at any time of day or night.

- photos don’t match the experience - this is more a hostel than a guest house - beds were very uncomfortable - home smelled like cat urine - home was still under construction / a lot of debris around the property (see other user photos)

- The other travelers - friendly travelers - we read other reviews re: bed bugs - we checked our mattresses and didn’t find bed bugs in our room (the family room)

Extremely minimalist. 3 twin beds in a cramped room. No food, bathroom facilities is barely above campground. Stayed 8 different places, and for the money, you can find better. No on site people for the location. Definitely plent y of other options for the money in the area.

Read a review about bugs in room number 9 before my stay. Guess what room i got….there were really bugs crawling on the floor and i got several really itchy spots the day after my stay. I’m not even going to mention how outrageously expensive this hostel is for the quality of stay.

Almost everything. But mostly that for 300 bucks we were simply not able to sleep enough. The bed was not comfortable for 2 with an old dirty mattress and small queen size. The thin door is not sound proof and we had to listen to our noisy neighbors until 2am. The room was on the building’s first floor which is unfinished and looks like a building site. There is not fire security as plus are not finished and isolation material not covered. Doors are also not protecting against fire and easy to break in.
