It met our expectations, so there was nothing surprising. However, possibly add in a few more items for the smallest cabin, such as utensils.

It was a nice and cosy cabin. We knew what we signed up for with the cabin we selected, so everyone was fine. Reading the reviews really helped. 1. Be careful with your use of warm water. It was three of us and we never ran out of water because of the advice from review. 2. Be careful what cabin you book. The most basic cabin only comes with a hot water kettle and cups. The other cabins have a kitchenette (1 bedroom or above). 3. Pay attention to the size of the cabins. They are really cosy and get the job done. We even got to see the northern lights. We took the basic as we spent most of our time out and only needed a place to sleep.

The bathroomdoor wouldn’t fully open up because of the toilet paper holder so you had to scotche in. The main door squeaked.

When cooking(considering the place is bookable for 3/4 adults) there was only one tiny pot and a pan, big enough for one persons portion of pasta, we were making pasta and veg for our dinner and next days lunch so we had to cook 4 lots of pasta and 2 lots of veg all at seperate times instead of once! inside is very worn, it’s quite cramped, we booked a 1 bed but there was not a full wall between the beds and lounge, it was more a studio and they layouts just not the most practical with kitchen table and chairs being right in the way of using the sink and hob, we had to move the room around to cook and get into the fridge, but it was a cheaper price to alternatives and like I say the outside was unreal!

Outside is stunning! The location and views are beautiful and the sunset from the porch was sooo good! Beds comfortable, great aurora viewing spot!

It would have been nice to have a couple of little things in the cottage like a small microwave, and coffee/tea.

It was very easy to check - in even though we arrived quite late. All staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. At then end of our first day we cracked up our rental car on the property and the owner was out at our car in a few minutes offering help. Amazing! Our cottage was very small but very cosy and warm inside - beds were excellent. It was very convenient to have a restaurant on site. Food was very tasty although expensive but then food is expensive everywhere in Iceland.

Unfortunately no wifi in the cottage. Some equipment were outdated and need to get fixed especially the toilet and the windows.

Better than expected. We were quite sceptical because of the low rating but it was totally fine. We had the cottage and it was the best stay in Iceland so far. Next to reception there was a splendid restaurant with the best icelandic and authentic food I have ever tasted. The cottage itself was little further away from the reception. It was clean and everything was provided. We wished we would have stayed longer because it was so cozy.

Cottage was in big camping ground.between two cottage enough space. But cottage was very small, we were four people and not enough space to put our bags inside. Bed are just like railway sleeper.
