The rooms were small, rather 'college dormitory' in appearance. They were clean and simple, but smaller than expected.

Beautiful view of three sections of the glacier from my window. Breakfast, although not included, was lovely. Nice variety, and good quality. The woman at the front desk was helpful and informative.

No lift. Room bathrooms are tiny.

Check-in was quick and welcoming. Chris was informative and helpful. Restaurant service is very good, food is good. Breakfast has a good spread and is tasty. Rooms are small but clean. Hotel has a laundry, it can wash and dry your clothes, 1 bag for free and 2nd bag for a small fee.

After having an amazing day and fantastic dinner at Pakkhus we literally crashed and had fantastic rest at Hofn hotel. Spacious, super clean and fantastic value for money room. We didn't try breakfast since we had to leave early in the morning but we'll try next time.

Out room was in building # 5 which is across the street from the hotel reception. When we found the building & drove there, there were no parking space for our building. It was a hassle having to go back to the reception again to deal with the parking issue.

No elevator. I prefer taking the stairs everywhere I go, BUT, after a big day of horseback riding, it was a grind packing all the crap to the 3rd floor!

The room was small, I didn’t expect it to be this old, especially the bathroom. The staff is kind but seems to not have everything in order because they were surprised we were still in the room and had to verify my name again...

Very nice rooms. clean and comfy. overall a nice hotel to stay in at Hofn. good location. we walked from there to a near by restaurant. staff was helpful. all good.

We loved the stay! Very pretty and clean hotel with a lovely restaurant built in. We borrowed the bikes they had and biked along the water which was absolutely stunning. It's a safe location about 0.5 miles from other food options. Definitely recommend!

Very, very small standard rooms. They have a few larger rooms on each floor, but they will cost your dearly. Two people will have to negotiate the interior space of these standard rooms very carefully.

More stylish on the interior than the exterior appears to be. It is described in some guidebooks as a business-style hotel. Not quite accurate. The interior spaces are well designed and distinctively stylish. The location is within easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops in this small town.

they have hotel units and separate buildings with rooms opposite to hotel , so you have to cross the roads and reach to hotel building for breakfast .
